This is bad news! i prefer the 0872 in original configuration, for the line and what line! this car change completly, it s horrible like this, we can talk a long time about replica but there s some owner (and i don t know who takes this idea) with bad taste, and bad ideas.
CALM DOWN PLEASE. There are SEVERAL complete sets of bodywork for 0872. Both Berlinetta and Spider configuration. Even a small person with helmet can NOT sit and drive in the Berlinetta because of the very low roof. As you will no doubt remember, this car used to have a huge bubble while it was raced in the USA in the early 1970s. 0872 is owned by Swiss collector Arnold Meier, at Hockenheim it was raced by David Franklin. This was the first public outing since the arrival in Switzerland in June 2007. Before that it had only be tested on a small airport in Switzerland. It will be raced at the Historic Challenge Finals in Mugello in October 2007. When the car returns from Italy to Switzerland it will be fitted again with the Berlinetta bodywork. Marcel Massini
Thank you Jonathan. I would appreciate it if you can post the others as well when you have the time. Best regards, Tarek
Hello Marcel, i m very calm when i wrote those words, it s my feeling, my opinion, i hate this configuration, hate the Reconversion for a Ferarri. Now i dont think that car was built in this configuration by SF.
There are some interesting links according to the 312P: http://www.imca-slotracing.com/Ferrari312P.htm http://www.qv500.com/ferrari312p2.php There you can see the different looks of the car and a lot abouts its history. In my opinion, I like this car in both configurations, as a Berlinetta as well as a Spider. And even if the Spider is not an original Ferrari design, it has a wonderful flat shape.
In the post of D@niel (part 4), the second picture. Can anyone tell me details about this car? (red with blue stripe, looks a bit like a 250 GTO in the rear, more like a 275 in the front, a bit like a Drogo...)
i like only one configuration: came out the factory the first day. 0872 berlinetta 0870 spyder so your links are famous, thanks for sharing. Best

Very impressive quality! Just a few words to tell you that I uploaded my Hockenheim report on my site www.arthomobiles.fr it's in french but you can always watch the pics enjoy!
Tarek, Here are the other pictures I took. All done in a bit of a hurry as they were just moving the Scuderia out of the way to put the FXX in the garage (later it was displayed in the Ferrari hospitality area but I didn't have access there in the end as I couldn't arrange the tickets from England).
