I'll be there the whole weekend I hope lots of nice vintage cars will be in the historic challenge and that the P3 s/n 0844 will be ready to race again Martin
i would really like to visit the FRD at hockenheim. as its my first time there, i would ask for some info: are there paddock ticket like they have at the finali mondiali with access to pits and paddock ? recommendations for hotel nearby ? evenig dining ? best places at the track to take pictures? thank you michael
Sorry but I havn't been to the Finali Mondiali yet. So I can't compare. I guess that you have access to the paddock but not to the pit lane. That's how it was at the Nürburgring. Only with an owner ticket you had also access to the pit lane. I'm looking forward to see the first examples of the new 430 Scuderia there Martin PS: If you go on friday you have big chances to look and go into the pits. They are not so strickt with that on friday
Only with an owner ticket you had also access to the pit lane. Martin martin - thank you. where can i get an owner ticket. i´m registered in the ferrari owners site.
I guess you can get them from the Ferrari dealers (I'll know more about it on monday). I'm also thinking of getting one but that depends on the price. 48 for the whole weekend with paddock is very cheap, so I hope the owner tickets are not too expensive. At the Nürburgring you had also access to the Ferrari Deutschland tent with free food and drinks. But the question is what cars will be in the pits. My guess is F1 and the 430 Challenge cars. I hope they have a tent with the vintage cars like they had at the Jim Clark Revival in 2006. Than you can have a much closer look on them than in the pits (and you don't need that ticket). And it's very cool when they warm the cars up and drive to the track Martin
thank you martin i dont know the hockenheim pits, but at mugello or monza they had all the historic cars there. at misano the historics have been in a tent. anyway - i will try to be there.
if it was 10 days earlier i'd be there for sure very small chances i'll find funds to go there although i'd like to very much...
i wrote to ferrari germany for press admission and sent a mail but have been ignored ! ferrari spa at maranello usually ignores any kind of request, but i´m a little disappointed, they do the same in germany ! never had problems with admission at events like ennstal classic, cavallino classic, targa florio or the palm beach supercar weekend but the "official ferrari" is different.

Hey guys, I'm a non-owner. How can I get tickets? Surely a dealer isn't the only way? What will be there? 430 Scuderia? FXX? Schumacher?? Sorry but I can't read german
Sorry to all. The PDF-Info is in German. I forgot, because German is my language. Is there anybody who can translate it in good english?
peter - have you been there before and do you thinks it´s worth being there without press-admission ? being there without having access to the pits would be much harder than staying at home. where will you buy tickets ?
Hi Michael, I've never been to Hockenheim before. I'm still trying to get press admission (allthough their e-mail addresses bounce Maybe I'll fax them. I hope I don't get the same reaction as you but I don't hold my hopes up too high... I guess the Friday should be good even without press. If press fails I guess I'll buy regular tickets at the gate. Best, Peter p.s. you have another PM
