Arrested and charged by FBI in alleged crime.

Pro racecar driver Scott Tucker charged in payday loan scam

Professional race car driver*Scott*Tucker*was arrested Wednesday on criminal charges accusing him of living the high life on the backs of millions of desperate people who used his payday lending operation to get quick cash over the Internet...

The indictment said*Tucker*spent over $100 million on personal expenses such as luxury homes and cars, jewelry, a private airplane and the expenses of a professional auto racing team which, according to its web site, races Ferraris in "marquee" events through the world, including France, Monaco and Abu Dhabi.

Feds say he exploited over 4.5 million people in the United States who were struggling to pay basic living expenses.

Uh huh. There's another thread with 375 posts and over 42,000 views on the trials and tribulations of being Scott Tucker.

Yup, well known piece of crap. The only people that liked him were those that were paid by him, which may say something about them as everyone has known how he got his money (and hence, how they got theirs) for at least the last 5 years. He's also a previously convicted felon for writing bad checks.

exactly how is this "a sad day," Al?

On the other hand, 4.5 million people are looking at this as a "good day!"

I'm going out on a limb by saying, I don't think there is a recent newpaper headline in the world containing the words Ferrari and Scott Tucker. The company doesn't have to worry about an alleged crook besmirching the brand name or image.

Actually, the article I read mentioned "Ferrari" and "Scott Tucker," therefore, I found it sad that the uniformed reader would associate the two. It does diminish the brand just a little bit, IMHO.

Yes, but is that not one of the favourite methods of journalists?

Tarnish anyone and anything remotely connected with an individual having trouble with the justice system just by quoting names.

This affected my opinion of Ferrari, Monaco, Abu Dhabi and Aspen exactly 0%. No reasonable person would think any less of Ferrari because a scumbag drove and raced their cars?

  11. 'Sounds like a statement yet looks like a question? (deja vu all over again) :D
