Is this the (near)future location? 4025 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 Sent from my SM-S918U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
One of the most historic automobile facilities in Pennsylvania if not the country. Was the Derham body company building for decades. Builder of some of the best cars of the classic era. Then Ferrari in it early years. Sorry to see Ferrari leave. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Interesting. The building(s) have been bought by Piazza...after my experience with Piazza dealerships, I wouldn't buy a bicycle from them.
I thought Algar Ferrari was located somewhere on Swedesford Rd. before moving to the Lancaster Ave. location sometime in the late '80s or early '90s.
Algar Moved Ferrari from Rosemont to paoli for a while but kept Porsche there. Then moved Ferrari back. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Algar moved to King of Prussia, off 202 somewhere, didn't it, put the Rosemont Porsche-Audi dealer in the Bryn Mawr building, then eventually moved Ferrari back to Bryn Mawr. That was when Al Garthwait (sp?) still owned it. At some point there were Ferraris coming through Aston Township in a facility there as well, not sure of the relationship to Algar. I'm fuzzy on the dates on that. D
Anybody in the dmv area ever use Ferrari of Philladrlphia? Sent from my SM-G977U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I agree, this is one of those historic locations that's a shame to see it go, but I understand growth/change happens. I got to visit before and after the renovation 10-12 years ago and I miss how much character some of these stores used to have. Drove me crazy when they pulled the slate out of the showroom at Miller, but now I'm just glad Ferrari didn't make them strip the exterior too..
Does RDS still own this dealer? It is not listed on the RDS website, and with all if the recent dealer shake ups, I wasn't sure if they sold it off.

I saw RDS posted about Ferrari on IG, so I guess they do still own it. I was just curious as Maserati was removed from their website as they apparently sold the franchise and are making the building an Ineos dealer.
I’ll have to drive by and see if they reconfigured the driveway. Always had to approach at a substantial angle.
They have not reconfigured the driveway, evidenced by the many deep and wide gouges accumulated over the years. I suspect it will be many months before any move to that facility. And, there’s no way Ferrari would even consider entering from above - through the Porsche dealer.
It’s going to hurt when they move. I drive past Algar 5-6 days a week. My drive is going to be so empty and sad once they move.
Maserati in Devon was sold by RDS to Piazza. I knew Piazza bought the old Algar building, I wonder if they don't own the building in Devon.
Stopped by to see a friend at the Maserati dealer few months ago and he’s looking forward to getting back to the Algar building. He was with Algar Ferrari a while back. Sorry to see Ferrari no longer at the Algar location but want to see the new location. Should be beautiful.
