Pretty much SOP. FPE owner has a very long and colorful career in Ferrari business.

Good chance your money was used to buy parts for the prior order and as soon as he has another order and money he will order yours.

In a business so full of charlatans as this one, that question should be asked prior to sending money.

Any reason you didn't buy from Ricambi, T Rutlands, AW Italian ? You know, someone with a good reputation?

You might want to dispute the charge an order from a more reputable source. Curious, where in N Ga?

I ordered in the last year, they had a NOS part that was otherwise not available, albeit rarely needed, and the price was reasonable. Shipped to Canada quickly, decent fellow when I phoned in the order to make sure the item was actually stocked.

Eurospares and SPUK are my go to vendors. Much better prices than US vendors. Shipping cost is comparable to US vendors but a day or two longer. The best thing is their selection (especially Eurospares) is the best. Eurospares will also tell you if a part is in stock, for order from Ferrari, or NLA. Most other suppliers just say NA. Both have their own proprietary parts at much cheaper costs than Ferrari. Eurpopares will cross reference identical Maserati parts for much cheaper cost.

Obviously buying something bulky or heavy will cost more in shipping. Bearings are subject to customs duties so avoid those.

Technically all parts are subject to duties, but this is not reliably or consistently enforced on orders sent to individuals under a certain dollar amount. So you may receive a separate customs bill on your order from Eurospares, and you may not...

The issues with bearings is they require additional paperwork due to "Antidumping and Countervailing Duties" legislation. Basically - Chinese manufacturers were dumping bearings on the US market at extremely low prices, and this is designed to prevent this. And Customs and Border Protection does take AD/CVD pretty seriously.

I've probably placed 20 or so orders over the years from SPUK/Eurospares. The only time I got caught in duty purgatory was an order from SPUK where they listed the entire order as "bearings." No problems on the other 19 or so.

Hi, I just have a very bad experience with Ferrariparts exchange. I ordered an paid items for 275€,After 1 month, still nothing received.I reach Ferrariparts exchange, and they told me that they send the items and after that it s not there problem anymore. My items are impossible to find.
Ferrariparts exchange told me that they feel sorry and that s not their fault. I already bought items Ferrari from other sellers, and I never had problems like that, all the others seller were respectfull and helpful til i get my items. Ferrariparts exchange just don’t care, they just want to sell and the after sale service, they just don’t care. My mechanic told me that he doesn’t work anymore with Ferrariparts exchange just, because he’s never sure to received what he found. He already lost money with them.
Now I buy to - Maranello classic parts
    -Superformance uk
    -Emilia parts
    -Eurospare, red parts,Scuderia parts,….

Just ordered from them a few weeks ago. No issues with ‘routine’ parts. Had to go into my profile and order history to find the tracking number. Robo and update emails could be better compared to ordering from other places. If you are gonna order anything that is remotely tough to normally find, I would just send a heads up email asking to verify stock. That’s become my normal routine, especially ordering from overseas when I need to.

It can’t improve all bad customer service, but it least it humanizes your side of the order a bit.

I am sorry to hear this! I ordered some parts in April 2024 and everything went extremely well!

I was planning to order an expansion tank decal this year.
