I love my Panerais and own a PAM 104 and a PAM 188 however the Ferrari ones are just a little OTT for me-they look a bit naff.

My girlfriend works for a Jeweler here in Kansas City. She has 4 of the watches.
I own 2 myself they would make a good investment. Let me know and I could give you all the number. I am not trying to sell them just letting you all know there are some around. I love mine...

Ask for Vickie Hake at Tivol Jewelers phone # is 816-531-0368. These are the real deal. She can ship them to anyone overnight. Again I am not trying to sell them, just informing my Ferrari kin to where they can find these great watches.

Or you can contact / support Chris VTC4198 (our Ferrari Chat Sponcer) and watch guru. I'm sure Chis will be more than happy to answer any and all the right questons concerning the Panerai Ferrari series of watches or any other brands. He can also keep you from getting ripped off with fake replica watches.

I do not want anyone to think I was trying to sell these watches. I own several and truly love them. These are not fakes I promise. Just wanted you to know they are out there. Panerai is also making a dive watch with a depth gauge built in I think it is a 1905 model very limited production. Check it out I have one on order. I am a Scuba instructor say maybe I can write off the cost of the watch.
Are any of you guy's going to the crescent classic? Check it out at Crescentclassic.com. Alot of Ferrari's and fun...

I spoke with one of my watch dealers yesterday. He has 2 or 3 of the Ferrari Panerai's and he'll discount them 15%. Not good news for me since I paid retail for mine. :(

I belive there are 11 of them. They start around $5,300 and go up to about $25k for the rose gold. The first 10 models are from $5k - $12k.

Unfortunatey he has one left or at least he did when I went by yesterday. That's the same watch I have. He told me he'd let it go for 15% off.

    Hey guys:

I bought this watch while on vacation last week. Picked it up in Nassau. The suggested reatil is $12,700 and after checking with my watch guy, he said grab it cause they're not easy to come by. I fought with the store for 2 hours to get them to discount it a little, plus I saved the sales tax. I think the best part is the packaging it comes in. My everyday driver is a Rolex Yacht Master, but I really like this baby for a change of pace.

Anyway, it's time to fire up the little red car and take her for a spin. Boy how we miss the things we love!!!

I was looking at the Ferrari Panerai watches on Ebay, and I notice that they are nearly all from Japan. Does anyone know why? My guess is that they are fakes? Anyone know anything?

There are a large number of watch collectors in Japan. The collector's watch market is divided mainly between Italy, Germany, Japan, the USA and the rest of Europe to a lesser extent. There are of course a few copies of the Panerai Ferrari, but far fewer than the Panerai Luminor in 44mm or 47mm, whether modern or vintage.

Yes and certain watches (just like cars) have a cult-like following in Japan. There have been Omega Speedmasters made just for the Japanese market and Japan is home to specialty publications on watches of that type.

I have one and its ok, but ive had to have mine fixed several times. pushers came off, and my clasp broke... not to mention my yellow leather wore away quite a bit, but it was easily re colored. as for investments - not so much. they kind of hold the value but dont go up, and some have gone down by 25%.. or more. they are however unique and are from the massive watch era.
