Depends on whether I'm up north or down south. Currently I'm down south so it's an Aston Martin Vantage, a great DD.

Thanks John. Modest compared to many of the amazing garages posted here but I'm happy with it :)

As of two hours ago,my daily just became a Nissan Murano. Haven't given up on trading the 71 mustang towards a newer mustang or camaro. We shall see in the long run.

It is. The difference is amazing. It rides and drives significantly better than the prior generations and the extra length/width is noticeable in terms of leg room and openness in the cabin. Wind noise is surprisingly reduced too. Hers has the AMG pack which includes the sports exhaust and it has a nice growl to it too. Still sounds like a bank vault when you close the doors. The tech is easy to use and really allows you to set it up customized to your preferences which is cool. The only complaint I have so far is you have to manually turn off the lane keep and auto stop features every time which is annoying... but aside from that it’s great so far.

Forgot to mention at my country place I have a 2007 Subaru Forester XT.
I get the impression that in the U.S this might make me a Lesbian College Professor !
But seriously a great fast rural car, the flat 4 2.5 litre turbo with an intercooler is a great engine (see all those WRCs) but my ,does it drink!
It shows how tech has changed, my 4 litre Lusso T get far better MPG

Is it perhaps unusual that my two DD's are worth less than the pan roof on my Ferrari?
They are not wrecks, or beaters, they are very well maintained and presented, but they are cheap and utilitarian.

Ha! Yes, then you and your partner can load up your dogs, apply a new political bumper sticker to the back and head off to an anti-Trump rally. Trust me....I've worked on college campuses for 20+ years. You are spot on with your simile.

Image Unavailable, Please Login My DD these days is my 430. However, I do have options. The black MX—5 is what I call my Airport Car. That’s the one i park at the airport, take to Publix to exchange propane tanks, drive to places where I don’t yet know the parking situation...

This time of year the 328 gets more drive time (think crappy A/C) and the Lotus is my go to track day toy.

(Mrs. Rosso has a bigger car in case we are traveling together and need to fit more than one carry on bag in the trunk...)

Same DD I've had since I got my license... perfect runaround to go with my perfect road car :D
She will be 50 years old next year and was not new when I got her. I did a resto in 2007 and the engine was Abarth'd a few years after I bought her.

There are A LOT of folks here who are fortunate enough to live in areas were winters are very mild. That is not the case here. In winter we rock a VW GTi manual of course, with studded tires and an F-150 with mountain/snowflake winter tires.

Don’t have a good picture of the GTi right now. Ferrari is offsite during winter and the F-150 stays in the garage.
