    Are any of you using a Ferrari Mechanic on the north shore you are happy with.

    I am looking at a 1988 328 GTS that would need a major service. I know of Ferrari of Lake Forest; I believe they have good reputation but wanted to know if there are other options.

    My choice for dealers would be Continental and Todd Routi there is really good. I know him personally and he has his stuff all in one pile.

    There may be quality independents which would naturally be less costly.

    BTR Chicago was doing some good stuff. Mostly known in P Car circles but they usually have Ferraris in the shop too. Not sure if the original owner Bart is still involved or not but he was a big 348 guy and well reguarded in the local enthusists group. Worth a call anyway. Otherwise can't go wrong with Continental. They are well known over the years extending beyond Chicago. Family involved in racing etc.. i.e. not just a "dealership" rather another group of enthusiasts.
