Weather shows 0% chance of rain tomorrow. Should be a great day.

 

Major rain storm going on up here this morning. I will try to get the family up and moving early tomorrow. We have to be at Pickles deli for my father-in-law's birthday lunch at 12:30 anyway. Just the difference between leaving at 6AM or 10AM. It is the rest of the family that does not want to get up. They just do not understand what a fantastic gathering of F cars this is.

Anyone meeting around the long beach or southbay area? I am debating on meeting with a group in arcadia or meeting with people from long beach to southbay and up the 405.

There is a small group coming from the South Bay, there is a separate thread about it.

I will be standing by tomorrow on the right shoulder along 405 just pass 605 to wait for the caravan so I can join them. If you like you can do the same thing, find a safe spot along 405 and wait for the group and join in.

Chris, after 40 years of film production, I can honestly say this with a straight face - - "7:00 AM is a slam dunk" - - especially when I'm not doing it every day. Lazy and comfortable can become quite "the cat's meow". But, i've decided that regardless of any (lazy) cop outs, I will be there tomorrow. And I hope to see you there as well.

one man down, brought out the 400i out turnes out I have a small gas leak near the left side rear tire. don't know what happened but coming out of a driveway I remember bottoming out hard and maybe somehow punctured a fuel line. It stopped leaking when I turned the car off. Have to bring it to Damien to get the fix. I will still come but in my Renault r5 turbo. see you guys there!@
