Actually they did this way back in the 50s when they bought the Lancia F1 car and rebadged it as a Ferrari.

Then Toto would accuse Ferrari of copying/stealing.

Ferrari should just do the best it can with what it has.
They can still expect to be in the points, even if the car isn't as fast as it was.
Good preparation and strategy should help them to gather points to be in the middle of the pack.
That's not terribly exciting, but they have to bite the bullet this season and the next, and regroup for 2022.
All the actors should avoid spilling their feelings in the media, and keep some dignity by stopping giving silly interviews.

Reminds me of the Charles Dickens writing style where "the English should starve to death without making the slightest peep."
You know, stiff upper lip and all that.

Maybe because as a nation we have learnt to endure hardship with dignity, where others may throw their hands in the air and start wailing.

In fact the Lancia racing team was offered to Ferrari, paid by FIAT if I remember correctly..
Fangio won his 56 title on a Ferrari-Lancia as it was known then.

He got most of the article from Italuan Motorsport.

There's more to the article of which some of us knew already regarding horsepower.

Excerpts from the Italian Motorsport article:

Motorsport Italy writes that the 2021 Ferrari engine is internally called "Superfast"... They write: "It's not a revolutionary engine, though it will adopt solutions for the 2022 project, feature a smaller turbo and an improved MGU-H. The new engine is expected to recover 30HP."

Binotto said that Ferrari is missing 40/50HP with the current engine compared to Mercedes. Assuming the 30HP is true, the other manufacturers certainly will have improved their engines in the meantime too, so the 30HP recovery is not really indicative.

"Superfast" is what they call the 2022 engine internally, the 2021 engine is adopting some of the solutions of that "Superfast" engine.

It is not so much that he is unreliable, it is that he knows so little about how engines convert fuel into power.

Ugh, ever since the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, I've had trouble with the idiotic names Fezza comes up with for their products. But already calling your engine the Superfast is just setting yourself up to be the laughing stock once again if you cannot find the extra 70 hp needed to just equal Mercedes...
