Ferrari in Disney's pixar movie "Cars"

If you look closely at the bottom of the home page for the movie they make a reference to Ferrari as a registered trademark. So Ferrari appears in the movie somewhere. It's my guess that Disney wasn't able to use the Ferrari character to promote the movie, they probably didn't want to pay for it. When you think about it using the F name to promote the movie is a free ride for Disney but OTOH it's a way to enstill the F brand early for kids and free brand awareness for F. Not sure. Sorry, Mickey Mouse not available for comment

 

I think I remember hearing that Michael Schumacher's voice is in the movie. So maybe he was the Ferrari you saw.

 

If you go to the website http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/cars/ and check out the trailer for the U.K. it's got the Ferrari's in it. Choose country and then U.K. Not sure if it will wind up in the US release.

 

You mean the little yellow car?! It looks more like a little Fiat that's a huge Ferraristi!

 

He says, "I'll take you to show you the Ferrari's"(or something like that) so I'm assuming he does

 

"Luigi only follows the Ferrari's"

From Disney Pixar's production notes:

According to the "showroom" part of the promo site, "Luigi" is a 1959 Fiat 500.

But I'd'a thought they'd have Raul Julia voicing the Ferrari: "What's-a behind me ..."

 

Raul Julia passed away.....

 

I have seen the Ferrari in the movie. Its a 360 coupe, and it looks as life like as Sally Porsche.

I was fortunate to see the entire movie at a benefit at Pixar studios last week and there are lots of voices of real drivers including Mario Andretti, Dale Jr., Schumi and Paul Newman. A very creative and entertaining movies and try to see it at a theater with the best sound system available.

 

Of course, just like in real life, the hottie is a Porsche

I saw the Ferrari in there. I might have to go see this one just to see the little bit of Ferrari in there and also Schumi being in there.

 

I think its a F430, looks to be a fun film.

The only problem now is to figure out how to see the film without abducting small children for those of us that are not parents. The good news is my new girlfriend is this many (holding up 8 fingers) years old lol
