The date is set for November 20 Once again all the money we raise will go directly to the Texas Children's Cancer Center. We only have space for 50 cars so we will take all applications but we may have to restrict some models if it comes down to space. The forms will be put here tomorrow and the invitation is goon put to all the chapters of the South Central FCA as well. Thank you Paul
No track day planned as this moment. We shoul have a few things before and/or after the event. I will keep you all posted as we know more. Thanks
Let me know if you need a place to stay in Houston, I thought you all but abandoned us for the bright lights of Austin..
Registrations are trickling in. Confirmed this weekend; 1974 Dino, winner of the 1975 Cannonball. The owner bought the car new in 1974 and will also be in attendance. Cheers.
Curious as to the schedule / time commitment. Would be interested in bringing out the Scud depending on schedule. Please let me know what the day/event calendar looks like. Thanks.
Well, they put you "in place" and try to cordon off the parking lot to pedestrian traffic only(and there is a LOT!!) Live entertainment and food (and restaurants within walking distance).... Paul C can respond but it's not an 'in and out' deal. That said, I park across the street and make the required donation to get one of Franco's 'bottomless glasses"..... That would work if you need to cut out early (before the judging and the beautiful trophies)
I do recall last year one guy showing up late and his car had bugs on the front....probably had too much fun the night before.
We have to be in place and ready or people by 9:30 and remain in place until 3pm. This is mostly due to safety but we also don't want people leaving the event half way through the event. Thank you
hahaha, I don't want to insult the guy if he's an Fchatter! But I remember laughing when this one guy rolls in late and his car isn't washed. That would probably be me. Guess my new avatar will stay for a while then. I aspire one day to really meet Enzo Guy.
