    I wasn't under the impression that Enzo ever had a daughter. He had a son, Dino, who died in '56 from muscular dystrophy and an illegitimate son, Piero. I would be interested in hearing about Enzo's daughter as well.

    Well while in france recently I met a woman who claimed enzo was her grandfather... she had all the right answers to my questions, her surname was Brancassy

    If he had a son, then he could have a grand daughter. Was his son ever married?

    I have stayed in contact with this woman and she maitains she is enzo's grand daughter...i don't want to put her off by asking too many questions.
    one thing she did say though is her mother's godfather was Mussolini as he was a friend of enzo's

    Enzo Ferrari had two sons. With his wife, Laura Garelli there was Alfredino (Dino) who was born in 1932 and died in 1956 from muscular dystrophy. With his mistress, Lina Lardi, was Piero, who was born in 1945 and is still today vice-president of the company.

    I'm positive Dino died without having children, but it is very possible that Piero Ferrari has become a father sometime in history.

    That wouldn't make any sense since Enzo Ferrari never had a daughter to make Mussolini godfather of. I also don't know if Mussolini was a friend of Enzo's. He did recieve the title "Il Commendatore" from Mussolini, but at the same time one can not conclude that Ferrari shared Mussolini's views. He didn't. Ferrari was a-political, just a very clever opportunist. I have neve come across reports that talk about a close friendship between Benito Mussolini and Enzo Ferrari. I have even understood that Enzo wasn't feeling too comfortable with his title of "Il Commendatore", since he got it from a fascist regime. He apperently prefered "Il Ingenere".

    Enzo's illegitimate son Piero married Floriana Nalin on 10 Feb 1968.
    Piero & Floriana had a daughter - Antonella (Enzo's grand-daughter) Born c.1969/70 - not sure exactly when
    21 Feb 1988 Antonella gave birth to Enzo (the 2nd) - great-grandson of Enzo
    If your friend fits in here perhaps you can add some details?

    Piero was called Piero Lardi (his mothers surname). At some point he changed his surname to Ferrari. I assume that Floriana Nalin is now Floriana Ferrari. Maybe her daughter Antonella married a fella called Brancassy.

    Is your friend called Antonella Brancassy? Was she born in 69/70? Does she have a 16yr old son called Enzo?

    hi nathan... thanx for your observations...i have found out that my friends full name is brancassy di montezzemolo...and she was born in 1958.
    it is difficult to push for info because she is such a nice person and seems genuine, very successful in her own right. hope you or anyone else can shed some light on this. thanks, trevor

    Luca di Montezemolo is President of Ferrari. Your lady may be related to Luca - sister, perhaps as the ages seem to be similar (Luca is in his 50s). Not his wife as she is Ludovica (nee Andreoni), but that wouldn't make her related to Enzo.
    If you find out any more please let me know and I will do the same.

    Doing some more research. It appears that Montezemolo was married before - His marriage in 2000 to Ludovica was his second. So could this lady be his ex-wife?

    hi nathan, thats getting warmer but she has told me she was never married. her first name is patricia. Look forward to your reply.. this is getting quite exciting. lol... she also told me her brother was arrested in nicaragua for drug smuggling. i think she did mention the name luca

    Hi Nathan, I have solved it! My friend is actually the cousin of Luca. And what is even more incredible is, she is completely in love with me! She has actually had dinner with Shumacher..

    Am working on the tickets, and will definitely take it slow. Will also post pics when I get some, this is definitely not a wind up; she is the spitting image of Luca. Once again, many thanks to all, and will keep you posted.
