Very interesting car, I spent some time with Mattia Coppo at Micheltto a couple of weeks back, when buying a 288 GTO... he said that Ferrari now expects buyers of new F80 to be first allocated to collectors who already hold the full series of Halo cars.. 3.9 million is a big number for the car but already over subscribed.. I imagine this has caused the recent buzz in the previous Halo cars, to get on the waiting list.
I like the...engine cover. Everything else is a massive, massive NO from me. Tourbillon, T50, Utopia...why can they make good looking cars with exciting engines but Ferrari creates some sort of Gemballa and Mansory abomination? And that V6. Pathetic. Stevie Wonder could've done a better job. I'll stick with the ''old'', slower cars...

I'm not liking the F80's lines nor it's powerplant. Looks like a softened Mclaren Senna from a design perspective.....too boxy. Maybe IF Ferrari brought back Pininfarina to design the F80, the lines would have been more artistic. I guess no more V12's or V-8's in this lineage of Ferrari cars.
Credit due to Pininfarina and Glickenhaus that their 20 year old design is better than the current. We need to start a petition bring Pininfarina back! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don’t mind it, but V6 will ‘lift all V12 boats’.. known about the V6 for nearly 2 years now but to see it officially now, it’s a massive blow. Total sacrilege, Ferrari is unrecognizable since L d M
That does look cool. They should have at least used a small displacement V8 in it though. I can see the V6 getting a similar cold reception like the XJ220 did when it came out.
Unfortunately the black strip, while not good, is necessary to hide the weird matching of boxy-squared headlights and the rest of the body. Pictures don't give justice, but it's true that, as VIP were anticipating months ago, the car is very squared and boxy, too much probably, like they tried creating a modern Enzo, but it's not 2002 anymore..I think Manzoni has some talent, he designed FXXK, 488 and 812, so it can do better. The past I dislike the most is probably boxy lateral fenders, look pretty hideous, but I reserve judgement when I see it in person. Engine cover is the best looking part
If Ferrari design use to be a beautiful woman, is the current more sharp aggressive design a little transgender?
