Yeah, but it is an amazing color. I know, it is completely irrational; sort of like love. The heart wants what it wants. No logical explanation, just pure rationalization. Nothing other than I wanted it it and I could afford it, so I did it. Stupid for business, great for the feelings and emotions. This car I could just sit and watch or drive it and would probably feel well and at ease.
What i did find interesting on the weekend with our dealer is that they ordered 2 coupes and one spider with nearly every option on it including Carbon wheels to sell at very high prices but all 3 were standard colours. At the end of the day the amount you spend extra on paint is your choice and want , not for the next owner.
If an option is not cost effective and extravagant but it gives you pleasure and enhances your enjoyment of the car, then you have your answer.

Something Rosso Fuoco arrived and I'm very happy with the way the inserts turned out! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haven't seen strips like this before. Looks absolutely great !! Your colour choice is exquisite !! What you have done with the red strips is pure art ! The red stitching generally gets hidden in the black ( thats why i picked white stitching as i wanted black ) but with the strips it breaks up the black to show shape. Well done. Where id you get the idea ? As I've never seen it. Plus the steering wheel is on the correct side . ENJOY , one of the very best F8's to date.
Shhhhhuuuuuureeeeee! I am kidding. It really does. But the only time I look up to the roof is when there is a sunroof or the liner is detaching or destached from the roof. So, although it does look better, for me it is an eh option.
I agree, the red livery on the center console and doors are a very unique feature and tastefully done. Congratulations! I disagree, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
Wow, thanks for the kind words chaps. The red inserts are all in Alcantara, so they won't shine like leather, which will help keep the contrast in check. The door cards and centre console inserts are XX options, while the seat insert is part of 'Coloured Inner Details', only available with 'Style Option' seats. I changed the kick sills to carbon at the very last minute, as couldn't decide if they should match the wheels in stainless, or carbon interior. Think I made the right decision, as the goal was a harmonious interior and exterior, in a classic/sporty colour scheme. I'm very happy to share my 'creation' with fellow enthusiasts that appreciate detail, which is the great thing about this place. I'll get some better detail pics up after PPF/correction/ceramic and delivery in a couple of weeks. Happy Friday all
