No stripes.[ATTACH]
Only thing with this is that unlike the PISTA which has body colour and stripe going down the S-Duct the F8 has a black plastic ( or carbon fiber ) insert. Up to now I have not see anyone painting that piece with the body colour.

Thought so. Mandalay was referring to that piece being plastic on the F8 vs paint on the Pista, not the hood collar.
The black plastic will better resist and prevent damage caused by debris and fine dust particles or stones that will flow through that area.
Although I guess it could be covered by PPF anyway, so that using unpainted plastic is not really mandatory to prevent damage.
I don’t mean to stir up controversy but anyone see the Road&Track August issue review of the F8 Tributo? I have never read a more scathing article of a supercar in a major magazine; of course the issue is sound.
I just got my Road & Track and thought the same, usually the Ferrari articles are all very positive by not this one. The writer was just obsessed with the lack of what I would call the traditional Ferrari soundtrack.
He admitted he will probably be “blacklisted in Maranello” but wrote it anyway (kudos to him for some very very rare journalistic integrity for standing by your convictions). Further, he described the car as “dispassionate.” Pretty shocking story actually.
Just another opinion. Many on Fchat agree, some don’t... this has been hashed and rehashed numerous times.
The review was highly positive except for the sound. He opined that the same muted sound applied to the Pista.
I don’t give two sh*ts what any reviewer says of a car. Give me the data. I’ll decide the rest for myself. That applies to positive and negative reviews.
Yes I agree. The point I was making with regards to the strip. The PISTA the Sduct is body colour and the stripes flow through the Sduct but with the F8 if stripes would be added ild assume they stop at the black plastic panel in the Sduct
Ild like to see close up pictures of the S Duct with the PPF. That would be so hard to fully cover. Lots of joins.
Wheel fender gap seems to be a lot better on this car. Wonder if it has Novitec springs or lowered on stock springs?
