Ferrari F50 GT

There was three made and no they are not street legal here in the states. I am pretty sure one is not for sale but that detail could change in any minute. There is several threads on here including a video of one on a Dyno pushing around 800 horses at 10,500 RPM. If I am wrong anybody feel free to correct.

 

There was one for sale a while back, but it has been sold - from Australia to Europe, iirc. The dyno video was sweet, however it has been taken down, and is, as far as I know, no longer available.

 

if ever you get a hold of that video let me know, i would really like to see it, the F50 GT is a beast.....

 

I believe one of the three was in a moderate crash on a track a while back, but later restored by Ferrari.

There is a video out there by Pulp racing, I believe, with a F50 GT doing a few laps. The sound of the car is amazing....it is just orgasmic, if you have seen the video Im sure you would feel the same. Only wish I could have seen the F50 GT dyno video.

Art's has been crashed twice... once fairly seriously, but it was repaired - as a side note on this first wreck, Art was not driving the car at the time. The most recent crash was at Leguna Seca in August of 2004... knocked the front off it, but no structural or suspension damage, as I understand it. FWIW, the ************* pics are of Art's car at Leguna Seca in August of 2004. Art's F50 GT is #1 of 3, iirc...

 

You are 100% correct the video is still up under the race section, you need to register but it is free. WOW is all I have to say. The car sounds amazing. Not to mention the power of it. Thankyou very much! If you have time anyone register and watch the video it is amazing.

nopassn I was aware of the crash I believe were only the front was damaged as I believe I have seen some pictures of it. Glad that the major accident was repaired as well.

 

right on... does anyone have a direct link to the track footage? I've got the dyno videos, but I would LOVE to have the track footage... Also, FWIW, in the dyno testing you can see a lot of microphones set up, apparently this was Microsoft/game developers getting sounds and such for the upcoming Project Gotham Racing 3 for the xbox 360 - in the afore mentioned game you can drive all the "usual Ferraris" as well as the F50 GT and the 288 GTO Evoluzione...

Glad I reserved Xbox 360 months ago as well as PGR3 and PDZ. Anyone else cant wait to get 360 so you can hear the F50GT whenever you want and anhilate other cars? Ive read rumors of the FXX and Veryon, any news? Even if its not in the game as a download later on would still be nice.

Alveng I can see the magazine issue is January of earlier this year, but my Italian is not that great just what I can pick up from my parents and grandparents. Any chance on an English version or rough idea on what the article is about?

WOW THAT IS SOME GOOD NEWS. I wonder if the cars are special cars on the game or what. I wish GT4 had Ferraris in it like XBox does.
