Ferrari F50 GT

001 has not received any interior 'upgrades' or the traction control system, etc like 003. Although the wheels 001 now wears are significantly lighter than it's originals. I think the confusion may stem from the fact that some people believe the video from Yas Marina to feature 001, it does not, clearly.

 

As @TOOLFAN mentioned the video you posted is #003 and Sam's car. He drives on that track a bit with his cars. Art's car (001) is not that one. I was confused reading your post after you also posted the video of 003 but I think you may have mixed the two up when you posted the video.

 

It is quite possible I mixed them up, my bad.

I would go as far as to say the F50 GT is the greatest looking car of all time!

 

so here is a question - we have seen many many F40's turned into LM / GTE (particularly after a crash or fire). Has anyone ever turned a stock F50 in to the full F50 GT concept?
I remember seeing in Germany a few years ago a yellow F50 for sale that had the roof mounted ram air induction set up and a few other modifications, but nowhere near the GT spec.

 

Was it the F50 tuned by Motor Service?

I havent either and dont think there is one.

The is the yellow F50 in Japan that is being slowly destroyed by the owner's mods
There was the Koenig F50 that i think is back to original spec
There is a white one in Japan with a modded wing
There is a red one in the UK with an adjustable wing and a front splitter
The Yellow italian/monaco one done in Italy, that is/was for sale last year.

Probably more but no one seems to have tired to reproduce the GT looks or engine.

my argument at the time was buy it, return it to stock, which would have been very simple, right now the trade would be £1,000,000 to the upside

All original parts came with the car. Last owner was an Austrian/Hungarian guy. Car wasn't in good condition. Last service approx 10 years ago. Only oil changes and most of the time on the track.

 

Where are the GT's now?

 

East coast (PA - with a 250 GTO owner)
West coast (001 - Art Z)
UAE (Sam Li)
