Just recently I have been given the offer to buy a 2007 Ferrari F430 which has done just a little over 28,000km
which I think is around 173 miles ? I have viewed and test driven the car, the steering feels tight, I know they can have steering column issues and the exhaust is after market so I don't need to worry about leaks. I have heard clutch issues can be an issue and lucky for me the owner is throwing in a brand new clutch in with the car its not aftermarket.

For me this would be my first ever supercar , I am no expert on the F430 and wanted to know what owners thought of them, and anything that I need to watch on these cars ? I will though take it into Ferrari for inspection.

I gained a lot of F430 knowledge via YouTube (Normal Guy Supercar is a member on here and has videos showing most issues) and also recommend reading the comments on BringaTrailer. Plus the 430 section of FChat. I’ve had my 430 for 26 months now and wouldn’t trade it for anything. The PPI from Ferrari, before you buy, will be helpful for identifying any existing issues.

    I second what AandSC said.

And I got a 2007 F430 a few months ago, and I love it. It is an awesome car. Just the right blend of old school style, and modern performance.

I just passed 50k miles on my 430. It has been my (mostly) daily driver for about five years, but split with my MX5 for airport duty, and questionable parking areas.

I did spend a bit to bring it up to condition once I bought it, but since then has been very reliable. I did have a throw out bearing fail a few years ago which required a new clutch, but other than that, what can I say. Great car.
