    The F50 was mine. However my F40 was not there as it is in for service right now.

    We were not officially timed. In any event the comparision would have been irrelevant as we used a different and much longer track layout. The layout Top Gear uses is a figure 8. We were running with several cars out at the same time and therefore had to use more of an oval.

    Having stood next to one with straight pipes, not sure brain functions would be able to continue normally after 10 minutes behind the wheel. Only other thing close that I have experienced is sitting behind the wheel of a Jag XJR 15.

    I do not think you would like a Miura then!

    However, I understand. We each look for something a little different in these cars...

    Personally think the Miura is achingly beautiful. Would love to own one at someday.

    There is excitingly loud, then there is ear drum rupturing.

    great set up, never saw tubi headers on an F50

    it looks like a 90's F1 headers and given the roots of the F50 engine i have to say it is veeery appropriate!

    Does anyone know how much power is gained with Tubi headers compared to the factory units?

    It's in my F50 thread complete with dyno graphs. Haven't got time to look it up; but something like 20hp from memory.

    Perhaps a little more than that, perhaps? Then there's the weight savings, not to mention the heat dissipation... worth doing, I think.
