I was in Frys today and they have a 1/10 scale F2003-GA F1 car for $159. I've searched the web and the price is pretty good. The car is about 18 inches long and the set comes with a red Ferrari-branded controller. It's pretty cool, worth a look on your lunch break. More info here:

I saw that too at Frys, meant to post it but forgot. Glad Jim saw it too.

At least it has digital proportional steering, not that RIGHT STRAIGHT LEFT garbage that the toy companies insist on labeling "fully functional steering."

When is Fry's gonna put some new diecast on the shelves?
Oh yeah, as soon as they sell out of the 10 cases of blue 1:24 Subie WRXs that've been in the store for years.

Like an IDIOT I went Christmas shopping last night at grapevine mills mall. But I digress...

Passing thru Burlington Coats Outlet they had one-sixth scale knockoffs of the RC cars that they have at Fry's for $54.00 or so. I thought about buying one and replacing all the fake-sponsor logos (Shall, AND, FedOra, etc.) with some of those do-it-yourself decal kits you run through your computer printer and making large, correct-liveried static display. The shape was right, color was right... But then I remebered all those other half-built model kits I've got. :)

They had several Williams cars for $129 last night. No F-cars, except for the 1/10th lego technics Ferrari F1 car, which fetched for $65 (only two left).

The Arlington Fry's had some of the Ferrari's left a week ago, didn't notice the price.

    Dola...

I know this is an old thread, but I saw the BMW Williams F1 car like the Ferrari car in Radioshack the other day for $100. It look really sweet, just wonder if anyone got one of the 1/10 scale car and wonder how it is?
