Awesome, awesome event. Huge turnout, and great variety. Didn't see any 599's or 612's though! Many thanks to those who worked hard to set this up, and for the goodie bags. Neat stuff in there, greatly appreciated! Ferrari pins, notepads, prancing horse golf tees, Ricambi cap, etc... Again, thanks.
He cleaned up his act since this pic... FYI: I asked pap almost a yr ago to send me a pic so I can put a "face to the name," this is the pic he sent me...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dennis: What a fantastic job you did in spearheading this event. Everyone is appreciative of their goody bags and all are aware of all the hard work that went into requesting, obtaining, coordinating, assembling, delivering and distributing. Thank you for that and so much more. John: What a positive, proactive and organized effort you put forth in working with us. My only hope is that PAG is as proud of your efforts as we are thankful to you and them. Tom: Your "firm but fair" attitude helped ensure the smooth-running success of this event and the cars you were able to secure put the day over-the-top. The "Trailer Guys": -Bobby and Keith of Newport Beach Ferrai: I hope the show was great for you both. The trailer and cars were the perfect foundation to tie the whole event together. Thank you for your kind support. - Jeffrey: Despite the fact that you have now given us all a bad case of "trailer envy", it was great to have you there (with an F40 casually placed inside none-the-less!). If you need help cleaning off all the drool, just let me know. Thank you again. - Kerry for his F-1, Larry for the great breakfast at Panini, Jay & Breck, Haig and his crew of volunteers and all the ferrari owners, cars and fans that attended. Truly a memorable event. I would say "can't wait for the next one", however Dennis informed me of his ideas on how we are going to top this one and frankly, I need the rest! Thanks again to all!
Amazing show indeed. Can anyone tell me what the vintage Ferraris were lined up between the F1 car and the 333SP? I don't know them very well. Gorgeous though, and I'd like to learn more about 'em. Thanks again to everyone who set this up, and to everyone who brought out their cars. Gotta love Southern CA.
ah no worries there Pap, took it straight from Cars and Coffee to the post office...went ahead and overnighted it to Darth
Yes............ But I dont personally have any other Ferrari friends to go for a cruise with on any given Saturday like you guys.
Well, I'm on location again. This time up in Napa for a couple of days, not too bad if you have to call it work. Anyway, I would be back at PAG/C&C this weekend if I could, the Ford day sounds like great fun. I've heard that J.Mays is going to be there this Saturday. One of the great guys of all time, along with C&C's and Ford's own Freeman Thomas, both great designers and visionaries. I was lucky enough to work with J. on Audi and Volkswagen a few years ago, seems like yesterday though. If you get a fleeting chance to meet J. or Freeman , do it, basically rock stars of the automotive industry. Have fun this Saturday guys, but our little gathering of RED last Saturday will hard to beat.
I put together a quick vid from last weeks show. Check it out. Sorry about the quality, I had to compress it a lot. If you want a DVD copy PM me I might be able to bring it to VCR, of course it'll be better quality. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2028708391
