Heard the reason there is no active club, is too many egos on who wants to be in charge. Its a shame.

That's funny, every time a small club or get together starts here,
eventually the same happens, too many egos.

As far as I am concerned, unless Ferrari of Lebanon themselves do something to put this in place, then they are not actually doing their bit in providing the complete ownership experience. Anything that is not official is a waste of time. I would like to see it in happen in Lebanon, its sad that due to big heads this is not happening.

How many Ferrari owners are there in Lebanon? Do they get together as they do here in the US (within their region)?

I still find it amusing how some of the sales staff or their friends get to take the company's "demo" Scuderia out on exotic runs during weekends, while no one does anything about it. Where's corporate governance? I doubt that all the mileage on that "demo" has gone to genuine potential customers.

Once they sort those issues out, then they might be able to set up a proper F-club there.

Let me know if/when Lebanon gets one. Although I live in Canada, my heart is in Lebanon.

it's not unusal for dealers to do this. They are still showing the car to potential customers. I was at a run 2 weeks ago where the local dealer was there with a California. All the drivers were inquiring about the car for good or bad...

Not when you do it every week, with the same people who already own Scuderias and 430s. Very simple to control, just keep an official log book of mileage for "legitimate" potential customers, and "weekend free rides". I'm sure one will heavily outweigh the other in mileage. Obviously, it's very difficult to do that if the person recording the info is the person taking the car out.

i think it is a great idea!!

do you have to actually "live" in Lebanon and have your car in Lebanon to be part of the club?

I think unless its a proper owners club with rules, regulations, and minimum requirments, it defeats the purpose. I wouldnt want to join. Yes you should at least have your car in Lebanon.

    What a very interesting thread!

I'll be in Lebanon in 3 weeks for a couple of days for "tourism", so if you guys decide to organise a trip through Lebanon it will be a real pleasure to join you.
Million thanks in advance to PM me if something is arranged!
