I've worn a Ferrari cap in my 308 exactly once - when I drove it home from Greensboro with the top off in the NC summer. Seller/PO threw the hat in so I wouldn't die of sunstroke on the way.

 

I dont think you should deck yourself out to look like FA in race trim,lol.but a shirt or hat is ok.
I personally feel very proud to own a Ferrari and if someone doesnt like the fact that I advertise it scru them..As with most things use moderation.? Kevin

 

I'm feeling you. I'm low key regarding ownership so I don't want everyone at the bar/restaurant or where ever to know that its mine.

I could go for a shirt or cap at a car event of some sort.

 

I think it looks bad. If it was a less well known name like Spyker or Morgan then okay but Ferrari is over branded. I don't care if you work for Scuderia Ferrari if you aren't actually racing a Ferrari race car you shouldn't be wearing it.

 

I'm "in the business", when I attend car events I typically wear a shirt with a logo or brand name on it. It isn't always Ferrari, I have shirts from many prior events and quite a few with Lamborghini, Maserati or Jaguar (other brands that I service) on them. I prefer embroidered button-down collar or polo shirts. They are just a bit more upscale than a printed T-shirt.

 

A black Fchat t-shirt the only thing Ferrari-related I ever wear in my car, and that's just if I happen to pull it out of the closet.

I also have a Norwood Performance baseball cap, but it's known only to the local cogniscenti...has no horses or anything on it.

Good god if you want to wear a ferrari shirt while driving your car do it, who gives a crap really.
If you are that worried about what other people think of you then why drive the car for that matter.

 

I used to wear T shirts and other logo items many years ago. Never had any comments at all. When I started just wearing a lapel pin I get comments all the time.

 

I dont own a Ferrari but I have always loved them and most all cars as far as that goes but I am admittedly a car nut so I wear my ferrari gear all the time. If someone thinks I am a dork then maybe I am but I like my Ferrari gear and I'm gonna wear it!

 

please tell Alonso and Massa! they do it every time!

 

I've been wearing Ferrari apparel in some form of hat, shoes, shirt, or jacket many years before I became an owner. When I became an owner, I still wear Ferrari stuff. I have always loved the marque and don't feel bad about wearing the brand. I don't think I go overboard. On ferrari club drives I either wear Puma hi-top racing non-Ferrari shoes, Puma ferrari low-cut shoes, or Pilotis. I'll often will be wearing a Ferrari club Hat or Shirt. At most only 2 Ferrari branded things at one time ie Shirt and Shoes, Jacket and shoes, Hat and Shoes. Usually it is only one item of Ferrari-branded clothing at one time. I like the stuff and don't care if others think it's silly. Oh yeah, I forgot, I also occasionally wear a Ferrari watch, as well. Well, I don't think I go overboard.

If you are thinking about it then you are showing a bit of vanity. Do whatever you want. Yeah, decked out in brand regalia looks a bit cheesy. A Ferrari shirt (subtle) is fine if that's what you feel like. I often wear my hat (simple cavallino) when I am riding with the top down to keep the sun out of my eyes. Should I wear my Porsche hat? Do you wear a polo (RL) shirt because it has the horsey or because you like the shirt. I like the Ferrari logo. When I wear a Ferrari shirt, I like to see the logo. Kinda like when I select a watch to wear.

 

I don't think it's about being too showy, but more about not wanting to appear like one of those people who cares about nothing in like but his/her (fill in blank with whatever meaningless-in-the-grand-scheme-of-things item or subject).

I enjoy reading at the coffee shop near my place, but when ever I'm out on my motorcycle I make it a point to NOT bring a motorcycle magazine, of which I enjoy plenty of...or wear a Ducati shirt if I'm out on that...

I don't own a Ferrari, so I'm safe there...But I won't buy any Ferrari branded clothing made in a Chinese sweat shop. That would be just too counter-intuitive, and another thread entirely

 

I don't care what anyone thinks or says about what I wear, frankly. I do think that wearing a shirt, jacket, hat, etc. all at once is a little much, but I've seen a lot worse at football games. I will comment on other sporting devices branded with the Ferrari name such as skiis, surfboards and bicycles. If they were made by Ferrari, it would be one thing. But the gratuitous licensing of the Ferrari brand weakens it, IMO. Reminds me of the Harley-Davidson Ford pickup. Huh?

 

Hmmmmm....first of all, I don't concern myself with the opinions of people who don't matter to me.

My Ferrari is the supercar from my childhood. She has a name and I feel she has a living spirit. To me, she is a living breathing icon of dreams made real - the rewards of long sacrifices and hard work.

If I CHOOSE to wear a totally over the top complete Ferrari outfit while driving her because I feel it strengthens our shared bond and reinforces the ties btwn my fine Italian Lady and I then I DAMN well gonna do it!!! If you have a problem with that then SCREW you. I am NOT compensating for a small "package". I am living my life and my dream.

I don't wear the Ferrari outfit to smash into other peoples faces how much better I am then them. That's not what I'm trying to say. I am content with my place in the world and don't feel the need to prove myself any further. Its not about arrogance or showing off.

I love my "Felicity" and I am proud to show that pride of ownership openly. I am no coward.

Consider my Ferrari outfits (yes, I have the whole she-bang - shirt, pants, driving shoes, hat, gloves and even a belt) my version of a wedding ring to my car.

Small people are often jealous of other people's success and feel the need to knock them down to their level so as to feel less pathetic rather than being happy for another's success.

I would warn these small people that I am FULLY capable of defending "Felicity's" honor and my own.

Despite what other radicals are trying to do, this is STILL a FREE country.

BE proud of who you are and what you love.

I have a simple red polo ferrari shirt that I wear during car shows with the car. I also have a nice prancing horse tie clip given to me as a gift that I'll wear for formal occasions. I even wanted to get a nice expensive Ferrari formal shirt (collar, long sleeve that uses cuff links) However, they don't make anything in my size. They seem to design their cars and clothing for small Italian guys. I normally wear an XL or 2XL depending on the cut for shirts. However, even the 3XL Ferrari shirt was way too tight! (3XL usually fits me like a tent) I'm willing to spend some money but they won't design shirts in American sizes. I'm in shape too. The shirts are just too damn small.

Oh, and my wife loves her red and yellow Ferrari coffee cups in the morning.

Agreed. The European sizing on the vast majority of Ferrari apparel is insane. I wear a 2XL and their 2XL size is more like a normal U.S. Large. Is Ferrari making a 3XL now?

The ONLY Ferrari apparel that was of any quality was the merchandise made in the mid-to late-1990s by Nice Man in the U.K. I own a button down oxford shirt and a woolen leather-trimmed jacket. The new stuff is junk.

 

Most people probably think my Ferrari polo is by Ralph Lauren...

Ferrari not only makes sexy cars, but sexy clothing too. so I don't blame you whatsoever

 

I love the racing heritage and competition history. When driving my TR, which is for my own enjoyment and no one else. Sometimes I look more like the mechanic instead of the owner.

Ferrari clothing was cool in the mid to late 90`s before the Shumacher era. Now it`s just overdone and tacky.

The nicest Ferrari items are usually simple black or gray polos which have the little horse somewhere. Subtle.
