There were originally about 18 of us going in a caravan on Sat from my office but that's a no go at least for me. Some of the die hards are going to sit in the rain (Rob).

Rain or snow I no go!!!

I don't favor events in the rain.

Spoke to Rob on my way home from the gym. We will be going either way. I prefer to go no matter what the weather is.

I need to get out of my house for the day, so I figure I'll just go no matter what the weather is gonna be.

 

I'm considering going up on Friday. Has anyone found a schedule of events? I'm just trying to figure out if it is worth going and if so what time(s) to be there.

 

Infineon FC Schedule from Avantair is attached.

I raced 2 years ago in the "Wet" race in 430 Challenge at Infineon... it was a wild ride as we went out on slicks. It was raining on the North side of the track (T3 to T8) and bone dry on the South side (T9 to T1)... the race steward was on the dry side. I'm sure all of the spins under yellow and crazy racing made for a fun spectacle. It felt fun! Slicks and rain and Mid Engine is a bad bad combo. But, I'd do it again in a second!

I'll be there on Saturday in the R8 or the CS spectating.

I'm going, perhaps both Sat and Sunday, missing Fri as have to work......got a new server to upgrade with web pages etc....something about timecards and all.

Taking the 456, but with my STILL current window problem, would hate to duct tape it


However.........rifledriver DID say the Mondial T was finished today.....hmmmmmm, rag top in the rain....small leak, upper drivers window area......

Depending on the weather, I'll probably come up on Saturday, but I'm planning on bringing the bike, so it better not be raining.

I think you had best wear your rubbers, Art, cause it looks like it's going to keep raining!

 

If the weather keeps on like this it may dampen our resolve. We have some fairly fair weather race fans here.

 

Don't count me in as one of those in this weather!

 

I will be there tomorrow with the girlfriend, in the wet. By the looks of it though it seems vincent355 and I will be the only ones at the track. The only upside to the rain is that it might cut down on the massive crowd from last year. If anybody would like to chat or shoot the breeze I will be the guy in a driving cap and a tool shirt.
