Yellow Ch. Pozzi exclusive distributor window decal with black text and prancing pony. Any year will do, but a correct one from 1977-78 era would be preferred. Thanks.

Oooooo....I want one too! 1984 type vintage! Wouldn't that be awesome if someone had a handful of them and we both found one? :)

They are available from time to time on some selling sites, but I've never had anyone write me back when I asked if items were still available. Wish I knew how to just reprint them.

Those are wrong; the right ones from Pozzi are eagerly looked for, and fetch very high prices nowadays.
Be careful of the cheap, or wrong copies: the design of the letters and the horse is rarely right AND REMEMBER THE ORIGINALS ARE GLUED FROM INSIDE THE CABIN, so the glue should be on the printed side. Those that are glued form outside with glue at the back of the printed side are bad copies.
You have to keep in mind that they changed in time, too, notably in october 1985 when the french phone number changed form 7 digit to eight digit plus a prefix.
The right one is the one herenclosed on the pic of my #81085...note that the phone number cannot be seen, due to the bulge over the plenum.
It is a copy, athough a very good one; the car is entitled to have it, because it was sold new by Pozzi Paris (well, Levallois) to a Parisian owner.
A friend had a run of those very good copies made a few years ago; I had some left, correct for pre-1985 cars, but just posted the last one to a fellow F-Chatter.

That's the right one, of course, with the adress at Levallois; and not Boulevard Gouvion St Cyr, like the one sold by Eurospares...

My car was sold by Pozzi too...if you ever come across a correct one, please let me know. I may need to have a dude I know in Pasadena create one for me by laser cutting. Will probably be less than an original. I'm sad there are no more.

It may seem rather strange and verging on the obsession for details, but we actually spent a lot of time studying that 6’ X 2’ sticker and its different iterations. There were quite a number of different designs and fonts, for instance position of the word “importateur officiel”, etc…we studied a lot of cars and I think that the serie of copies that was printed were “rather good” in their accuracy (a serie with the 7 digit phone number for cars between 1975 and 1985, and a serie with the eight digit phone number for 1986 to 1990 cars)
One thing is sure, the address MUST be the one at “109 Bd Aristide Briand, Levallois”, which was the main establishment, and NOT “Boulevard Gouvion St Cyr, Paris” like the one on the Eurospares reproduction, which was only an outlet or agency: these stickers with the "Bd Gouvion St Cyr adress" were not used on the cars delivered in the late seventies and eighties.
The telephone number changed at the end of 1985: France went then from a seven digits phone number to an eight digits phone number, then with an additional prefix before the eight digits, between brackets, which for Paris was (01)

The one posted by Brian above is authentic and the only "right" one, with one provision: on some cars sold in the different “provinces” by the Pozzi agencies (so not sold by the main hub at Levallois), there were also some stickers with the name of that dealership instead: for instance, the Ferraris Sold by “Auvergne Moteurs” at Clermont-Ferrand did not have an “Ch.POZZI” inscription, but “Auvergne Moteurs” instead.

Authentic ones from Pozzi are today rarer than hen’s teeth, and priced accordingly. You must take care with the authentic ones but not with the Levallois adress, and with the copies: some are rather good, some are very bad, even with the glue at the back sometimes, and not on the printed side...

    To illustrate:
    - original one, end of the eighties (note the spelling of the phone number: eight digits, plus one prefix in brackets (1))
    - copy manufactured by a friend three years ago (end of seventies: seven digit phone number) the glue is one the printed side, to be glued from inside the car.
    - one for cars delivered by the Bruges agent (not Bruges in Belgium, Bruges near Bordeaux...) later print, the phone numebr is now ten digits
    - one from a car delivered by Garage Calderoni in Lyon.

    Fake: missing the telephone numbers...
Probably has the glue on the wrong side, too.
Another indication is the price; now you MAY get lucky from time to time, but at 20 euros it would be a steal...
Don't even dream of finding a true one for less than 100 euros.

That is one of the ones I saw for sale but did not look right. Thanks for posting your examples. It does border on the obsessive. It is still an interesting topic perhaps deserving of a thread elsewhere?

I just think posting one inside my Euro GTB as it comes out of restoration would be really cool.
