    They won't work on the fender of the 458 if these are for a 599..the dealer tells me. Can you try them on one of your 458's and post pics. I've been waiting for these.

    I got these from Novitec and they said they have used these on many 458s already. I will let everyone know.

    My dealer also tells me that 599 badges don't fit the curve of the 458 - interested to see if these have been adapted to fit. Would be good to see them on a 458. Would also like to see the rectangular badge on the bonnet in carbon fibre also.

    Saw these last week in Monaco on a Giallo 458 Spider, so someone has them that work if not these. BTW they looked amazing!

    PS the car I saw had Novitec stickers all over it, so it makes sense.

    With the Ferrari box in the back of the pic it look like that the shields are original Ferrari parts, so it should be easy to find out on which modells they will fit.

    Are the carbon fibre shields actually available anywhere? I would be interested to buy them for my Grigio Titanio spider. All the pictures I've seen have been on 599s.

    Update: Just out of the box these do not fit a 458. We have a Ferrari dealer overseas that has installed them on 5 458's already so we are waiting for info on what they did to make them fit. Once we figure that out we will modify them and offer them to 458 customers.

    Currently they do have them for the 599, F430, 360 and California. They are about $3k list in the US but I can get them much cheaper so if you want a set for the cars listed I will get you a price. As for the 458 application, stay tuned and we should have something shortly.

    Any update on the carbon fibre shields? Get my new spider the end of next week and would love to add the carbon shields.

    Ferrari of Germany and now Dubai is saying they have installed these. We are trying to locate a standard 458 badge so we can verify if they do or don't work and what we need to do to make them work.

    We are very close to getting this figured out. I am going to say that we should have something that will work for the 458 in the next 2-3 weeks. Anyone interested in these badges can email me or PM me to leave their contact info. Once we have a solution I can call you and get them shipped. We have a 458 that we are trying different things on to figure out the right badges.

    My prediction:

    The most sought after cars will be those without functionless adornments. No carbon fiber for decoration. No Alutex. No painted brake calibers.

    Simplicity will become the name of the game.
