DFW Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

Drove my yellow 355F1 spider and saw a yellow 360 spider, yellow 348 and a red 355GTS. All around Highland Park. Great day for it.

 

A brand new silver Gallardo passed me on 190 coming home tonight. Headed North on the Tollway from 190. It was silent. Kind of sad.

 

a red 328 going north on 35 in lewisville today.thats right in the rain.

 

Good spot day today:

1) 360 Spider (red) on Preston and Plano PKWY
2) 456 (red) on Midway and International
3) OT-Yellow Gallardo in Garage in Addiosn Circle-this guys rolls around with a Pozzi Blue 360 Modena-saw that 5 minutes after the Lambo

As for the Lambo, the back end looks like a MR2.-was not impressed.

 

On Hebron Pkwy. b/w Josey & Old Denton Road in Carrollton. I went out for grocery and ended up cruisin' w/this guy for 8 miles to Lewisville. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Today was a good day for spotting. I was just out making a lunch run and saw a red 355 spider, red 348, a couple of Vipers and a Cobra replicar.

To answer the question, it's hard to tell how many of the supercars are in the metromess. Too many of the Ferraris around here never make it out of the garages. I do know that there's a local board member who owns an F40, and there's the prototype F40 in the area, and Ken Griffey's old F40 was over at Norwood's a couple of weeks ago.

Saw a silver Maserati 'vert today over in Plano. I guess they actually do sell a couple of them

 

I've seen several DIFFERENT F50s here believe it or not. I'm just wondering what happened to them?? I used to see the Azurro California, Black, Yellow, & 2 different red ones at FoD. I only see one red one now in the showroom. Anyone has a census on these machines?? Lemme know!

 

Ok, not a Ferrari, but I saw a new Cadillac XLR last week on 190. It looked pretty good in person.

 

Here's my late post since I just got my phone line on today.

Last Friday: Silver 575 on loop 820 heading westbound to Aledo, that car was on a open transportor.

Sunday morning : Red 355 B on University crossing over the Trinity river bridge.

Saw what I believed was a 512M travelling down Knox, turning onto Central yesterday around noon.

 

Red F355B heading out of Plano into Carrollton on Hebron Pkwy around 3:45PM. Center lane heading West.

 

Pulled in behind a red Modena with shields and a challenge grill this morning on 75 at NW Highway. He got off at Lover's Lane. The car sounded great -possibly a Tubi system. My first car sighting in a long time.

Big day for me. I went to drive my friends new M5 (what a BAD A$$!) and saw a clapped out Grigio 308GTS and a yellow 360 coupe. Damn that M5's fast.

 

Black 456! Westbound I-30 over Trinity river around 7:40am today.

1st time to see one outside the showroom.

 

HEY AWESOME! I didnt know there was another Toronto, we'll I must be more carefull next time. The 612 I saw was at the Toronto, Ontario Canada Auto Show ;-)
