I've never got to that speed and not spun. That's impressive Whenever I've been though, I've tended to focus on keeping it sideways through the bend, rather than going for a fast speed......more fun 87mph is seriously quick though!
Mark and anyone else, whilst the day is a mixed cars day, it was advertised as a Ferrari day. So you're VERY welcome if you take someone's place, but in the Ferrari pls I've allowed a few non-Ferraris on the day so far but have tried to keep a balance of car types, with mostly Ferraris So, if anyone wants to take the place of someone who is not able to go, they are welcome to. But only if it's a Ferrari or Lambo please. Otherwise, check with me before paying for the place pls Sorry about this, but I want to ensure the day is what I advertised it as, and is a great experience for everyone. I'll put up a final list tomorrow. Remember, if you're not on the list, you're not getting on track....sorry So, anyone new, please inform me asap. Everyone else, pls check the list tomorrow. And finally, the day is a FUN day. By all means feel free to compete for fastest speed on the corner etc, but the day is not meant to be a competition - it is for fun. As I said above, I prefer to go for sideways fun rather than top speed. Basically to do stuff you can't do on the road. So, whilst I could bring my faster track car, I'll be in the 348 Just so I can experience the 348 sideways and on/beyond the limit. If anyone's worried by reading about handbrake turning on the slalom, spinning etc, don't be What you do with your car is up to you - no pressure I won't be handbraking, to get a faster time for example. I'd rather not flatspot my tyres. So above all, have fun and enjoy yourselves in safety Jas

50/50 on rain I'd day given the reliability of long term forecasts. Tuesday's forecast will decide whether I have to put the hood up on the 348. Perfect weather for me would be a soaked track, but no more rain, so I can keep the hood down Plus we'll get better pics and video then. Btw if anyone wants to bring their partners, feel free to do so, as you'll get a good opportunity to give them passenger rides (no helmets required).
I would also recommend bringing your car, and at least a pair of pants (or maybe 2 pairs if Chaa takes you out in his car)!

Anyone else finding their insurance company being a pain in the arse... Trying to expalin to them it is hardly a speed trial or dangerous driving if I am not wearing a helmet. Never taken so long to get them to come back to me with an answer.... Silly arses....
