575 GTC for sale: 2003 Ferrari 575 GTC for sale: Anamera

What a car, fantastic history. Price?

This Ferrari 575 GTC chassis #2204 we have for sale today is one of the 12 produced.

With only one owner from new and always raced and serviced by JMB racing, #2204 was raced in FIA GT in 2004, entered the 24h du Mans in 2005 and Le Mans series 2005.
In total, #2204 entered more than 18 races between the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
Mainly driven by Antoine Gosse, Peter Kutemann, Stephane Daoudi, Andrea Garbagnati and Hans Hugenholtz.

The engine has totally been overhauled in early 2015, with new liners, pistons, valves and bearings and never used since.
This Ferrari 575 GTC Chassis 2204 is for sale today, with one set of spare wheels.

Wasn't very successful in the GT championship (550s fared better if I recall correctly)...but oh my goodness, it's a beautiful car. To me, it's the best looking modern day Ferrari GT racer ever. Would love to see / hear one in person.

Good luck with sale! This example looks exceptionally well maintained.

This car has been around for a while (was on fa-automobile.com for a long, long time). Semi-surprised to see it at GTC, but, then, Guikas already has two GTCs in inventory.

GTC doesn't publish asking prices, but knowing his history, it's a high number.

    No idea.

But, if I had to guess...

It probably has a 6 or a 7, possibly, as the first number.

As art, it works. As a race car, it's a disaster. They were barely up to a Rafanelli 550's pace, let alone a Prodrive 550.

Very much so. I heard they were apparently very hard to setup, the car had a very small sweet spot. Give me one of the Prodrive 550s any day. Wonder how much the Prodrive cars would be worth compared to this.

I wonder aswell. I've never seen one of the Prodrive's in the market.... unfortunately.

I've never heard of one of their cars being owned by anyone other then Frederic Dor-not to say that isn't the case but I've never heard otherwise. I've seen examples of every other GTS/GT1 car from that era on the market at one time or another but not a Prodrive 550.

As in $600k or $700k? I think I'd rather have a 599 GTO or a new F12 speciale or whatever they are going to call it.

$600K - $700K would be my guess on an asking price.

But, again, I could be low. Very low, given the seller.

I love the look. What are the odds of converting a street car to this body style?

It would be a LOT of parts, and you would have to throw your passenger seat away!

Ferrari of Houston owns one of these, you could call them and see what it would take to buy one.
I don't think they ever ran it..last time I saw it, it appeared as new.
