The pass-throughs on the hood and spoiler are how the car generates decent downforce without active aero front and rear. I think it's innovative and cool, as big spoilers can be disruptive to a car's lines, and active aero is just another mechanical thing that will eventually fail. Love the design and love the name. That said, I'd get yellow with no shields or rally stripe. For me shields are almost required with V12's, but not needed on V8's.

I thought they had the configurator up already. Sometimes it's not that easy to find on their site.
+1 the tdf was a disappointment imo expecting good things from the Pista though, whether I'll get one depends on what premium they go for as I've been denied a slot
After the presentation, all I can say that I am going to need a lot of extra time with the configurator.
oh wow......please explain why you think the F12 tdf is a disappointment?? just curious to hear a different side
I wish I knew when the configurator is getting released so I could block some time of work! Many hours will be spent playing with it until the final deadline comes!!
Ragazzi..... this car is stunning and the name amazing....love love love! Can’t wait to see her at Geneva and no idea when we will start to play with the configurator at tailor made.....btw tailor made at that time should been already moved in the new building....woooww will be a great experience Stripes are must for me as well as CF rims but may be painted
Oh yes, I get the aero. But when I look at it I'm not immediately struck by the stripe flowing through to the splitter. Just looks like there's a stripe up there and a stripe down there. Will probably work better when I see it in the flesh. Most Ferraris do these days.
Why don't we have a separate thread now for 488 Pista ? This thread should be put to rest as its name is wrong and %90 full of rumors and useless info.
Probably similar to the triple layer paint of Rosso formula 1 on the launch of the scuderia Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
Here in Taiwan base price is 685K US dollars without options. Im sure with options its easily extra 100k
Lesia44: "I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't remember where. I seem to remember that it's on something relatively high profile so it will come to me in a while." I believe you may be remembering what a few of us have mentioned in previous posts: The 1967 Ford GT40 MK II.
It has a shorter wheelbase than the 812/tdf for example. Might not need it, especially as it will add weight.
Im very interested to find out what you are thinking about. Are you going to do TM for this one, or just do a normal Atelier spec?
