    I would definitely lose sleep with all these options especially since I am picky.

    I would want to customize the perfect 458, it's a good and bad thing that I can't afford one.

    No. You always have been able to order a Ferrari any way you want it. If you can imagine it, Ferrari can build it. Most people think you have to choose options and if there isn't an option code then you can't order it. That's not true at all. Sometimes you have to go over the dealers head and work directly with the factory when you spec out the car but it can be done. The secret is that you can't ask about any prices, you just write the check once the car comes in. They list it as "Other Additional Options" on the window sticker, with no specific option codes.

    Anyone know what the electrochomic rear view mirrors are? I thought also it was going to have a back up camera.

    Probably auto-dimming mirrors for the side and rear view. My only guess, since "chromic" generally has something to do with light.

    Yes, its an dimming feature for the rear view mirror when turned on at nite. Usually , there will be a switch that u can activate for this underneath the mirror.
    So that headlights from the rear that shine into yr eyes, and are glaring, are very much dimmed.
    Btw, in the configurator, under additional options, what is the outer sport sill cover?

    The sill cover is the structural element beneath the door along the body between the front and rear wheel housings.. I think the options is for CF?

    It certainly looks like matte black or dark grey .................but it's difficult to tell from the pix if it is CF .

    The dash is not available in beige, only in cuio? I am talking about no-cost option, not special additional option I know a Ferrari can be customized any way we like..

    It seems strange that since Ferrari has clearly further developed the bi-colored interior theme with this car that the configurator does not accommodate a separate upper and lower dash color.

    I wonder if this is simply coming later when the configurator is further developed or if the design strategy is to keep it one color. Certainly it can be special ordered though.
