    I have a 360 Spider.

Convertible top is stuck fully open. I can hear the engine run, but the top is stuck.
I need to close the roof before it start to rain.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be? Possible to get the top up manually?

Have you tried to turn off the engine, remove the key, turn on, start engine and try again?

Yes, I have tried that. Also tried a new battery in the car for more power. The old one was bad.

Happened to me a couple of months back. Turned out the hydraulic hoses connecting to one of the Rams has failed. It's all one integrated piece - with labour was a $2000 fix. Hope you're in a different place. Do you get a whirring noise when pressing the button? If not it's likely hose failure

A video would be good so I can judge the sound.

Try using the manual tool in the toolkit to close it for now. At least the interior won't get rained on.

I saw the instructions when I was reading through the manual... there are like 50 steps.

Thanks for all suggestions. I will take a look tomorrow. I will also make a video and check all suggestions! :)

Where do I put the tool to take on the top manually?

    Thanks steve_fr !

If I decide to use manually / emergency method. Will the top work? Or does it have to stay closed all the time?

If the manual is followed and all of the switches are tripped, then it will operate normally.

I wish there was like a socket and you could crank it open manually and later on crank it closed and just totally bypass the electrics/limit switches interfaces. Instead, the manual steps are rigourous
