Can anyone advise me about height adjustment on the seats in a Ferrari 360? I already know that the electric seats, either standard or daytona have height adjustment. My question is do either the manual standard or daytona seats have height adjustment? If so where is the height adjuster control situated? Many thanks

    HI Ricky,

The manual seat has no seat base height adjustment, you have manual lumbar and adjustable side supports.

The electric seat (all types) have electric adjustable base height / tilt, electric lumbar and back rest adjustment and manual side supports.

The carbon seats go forward and back on the rails and have an adjustable back rest.

    I hope that helps.

    T.

Thanks Tim, thought that was the case and you've confirmed it. Cheers Rick

Which seats offer the lowest height position? IE lowest rails if different and lowest seat height?

As i know, the sport seats are the lowest, especially that from the challenge stradale.

I'd love to find a 430 spider with sport seats to see if I fit. I sit too high in Daytona's.

Go for the Scud. The seats are very low (in their lowest setting). The seats are adjustable for height, but only by removing them from the car, which isn't hard.

Responding to a very old thread: Can the motors from the electric seats be used to 'convert' manual seats? I realize the control access panel would have to be modified on the manual seats. Has this ever been done?

I just went through this, i theory yes, but in reality no...I have Bordeaux electric seats and bought a set of Nero manual seats without the hardware for a steal. My plan was to use them and cut a hole for the electronic controls, but the biggest problem is that with the manual seats is that due to the knobs everywhere there are several BIG HOLES in the leather that would be difficult, if not impossible to hide. I'm working on getting the hardware just to go manual.

@RedNeck thank you very much! I looked at the photos and thought the hole cutting might be a crafty challenge, but then was further stumped that my electric seats have height adjustment whereas the manuals do not.

Like you I’ve considered going straight manual. I must decide if I can forgo the lift feature though.

Best to you and thanks again!
