The rear end doesn't look quite right to me but other than that, I like it.

People mistake my 348 for a kit car and it's stock. I can't imagine what people say about that one.

I like it, but then i liked the Koenig specials as a kid. Can't be many RHD made either.

Maybe meant LHD? I checked earlier and only two made in RHD apparently.

Shame it looks like a poor attempt at an F40 replica but maybe looks better in the flesh.
Surely must be bottomed out in terms of value at the asking price?

You put it more kindly than I would have, but +348. Remove the drivetrain for your car, swap in a stock driveline, and then sell it to a punter. ;)

    Hi guys,

I've ended up buying this - will be collecting soon. There is a yellow one also in the UK which recently also got sold but apparently the past owner of it used to be active on here?

If someone has his/her username that would be great, trying to find out a little more about the cars origin - I think they both came to the UK the same time from Koenig.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Congratulations! I can't help with the history but I was watching that car with interest, surely a rare beast, I hope it goes well.

Saw the old advert for the yellow one too, but couldn't find any indication what the asking price or sold price was for that car.

I've just committed to a standard 348 this weekend will be collecting in 3-4 weeks, the koenig was a bit of an unknown for me and bit wide for my garage with that kit on.

Thanks for taking the time to pull these together Simon, much appreciated! The yellow one seems to have been well used and photographed, but not so much mine. As I can gather, mine has only done about 300miles in 10 years!

Thanks for all the comments guys, counting down the days now....
