    I've had my 1979 308 GTSi for about 15 years , I live in Sonoma County . Time to get it back on the road !
    Any suggestions as to a good mechanic nearby ? Thanks , Tim Remesal

    Best is Brian Brown at SF Motorsports in San Rafael. Tons of experience, and the rest of the guys are great, they will even trailer the car to and from depending on schedule

    I would certainly second the SF Motorsports recommendation; Jesse and his crew have been taking care of my 550 for nearly 5 years and I have been very pleased with their service and their skills.

    This is a CSI version that has sat for 15 years? You want someone that knows the CSI system inside out, and upside down.

    1979 would be carbureted but would not be a GTSi which did not come out until 1980.

    Brian would be a good choice but so would John Heim at Patrick Ottis.
