By 1997 it appears 54 cars had entered, but I cant say what percentage of this number remains. PW = power windows.

This photo shows 288 GTO #50255 on the Ferrari stand at the Geneva motor show in March 1984. Note raised section in engine cover. In the back is 512 BBi #49471 and on the right 400i Automatic #49697. On the Ferrari stand - but not in the photo - were also a Mondial Cabriolet #50117 and a Mondial QV #49715. All cars were rosso corsa. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Official presentation of the 288 GTO at the Nurbrgring in 1984. The front plate said: "Auto Becker". Image kind courtesy of GIOTTO, and already posted on this thread once before. BTW, I have seen 50255 in recent times in Umberto Panini's collection.
Same car? Note lowered suspension. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe, That was one of the US recalls as well. I'm not sure which country originated the recall, but US owners of GTOs received the recall as well. I always thought it was interesting that the DOT issued a recall on a grey market car. This was one of many updates GTOs had. The oil update kit probably being the most elusive. Steve
Yes, that's 50255. 8 to 10 June 1984 shown by Becker at the Nürburgring. Then shown 22 to 24 June 1984 by Autexpo (the second German importer) at the Tegernsee. Then sent to England to Maranello Concessionaires for another presentation. Panini only had it on loan from the factory and doesn't own it. Marcel Massini

That's the Matsuda collection Daytona Spider "hardtop" that was for sale sometime recently. Don't recall if it sold or not.
Would it be to difficult to find the first GTO's delivered to the US, specifically Houston? Reason I ask is that I almost wrecked my VW Beetle when I drove next to a GTO way back when?
It is 12925 and Matsuda sold it July 2003. Now in France and available from GTC Sarl in Marseille since 5 years. Marcel Massini
