Parker Hall writes in his booklet that his 250 Cabriolet used 12-13 wire terminal boots - see picture. I know of the two for the ignition coils each and one for each distributor. Where were the others used?

    Thanks

I think 2 at the thermoswitch for the electric clutch of the fan
may be the compressor for the horn?
but same is written under point 118 in your picture
more just now I can not remember, sorry
when I see the the prices in your photo I would say go to an old bosch distributor, they have for sure some in a box somewhere or go do a mercedes dealer, at that time those boots have been very common. also they are used in VW cars

    this are normal prices then,
but the head is not as a ball like the originals are, they are cylindrical
also they are PVC what get hard when it will get always warm and cold again. you may have a look for such boots in black silicone, will last much longer.

but where are the other located???

So far the info I have:
    2 on coils
    2 on resistors
    2 on distributors
    2 on thermoswitch
    1 horn compressor
    1? dyno
Plus different ones at thermo sender water and oil
as gathered from feedback from Dyke and mechaniker on TY.

Yes, the original ones are round headed. Did not find them up to now for reasonable money.

There will also be one on the power wire terminal for the electric fuel pump if it still has the original Fispa pump.
Early 250's also used one on the wire terminal for the horn contact (sheet metal brass spring), but your car probably has the later style spring loaded carbon brush in the plastic housing type.

Other rubber boots: straight type on brake light switch, oil and coolant temperature sending units. Large 90 degree boot on battery cable connection to starter motor.
