Lovely recreation, however, I still think it's a shame to take a less popular F-car and remake it into something else. Every Ferrari model has its merits and uniqueness.
I'd love to one day pick up a well priced 330 GT2+2 with the four headlights just because it is a vintage front-engined 12 cylinder Ferrari.

    No longer here
If you buy the car, they'll toss in a phony Rolex and a cheap print of Monet's Water Lillies....

Speaking of California Spyder replicas, I am trying to track down a specific car. Bob Slack in Atlanta at one point had access to a blue California Spyder on chassis number 1445 GT, which I believe was originally a 250 PF with drum brakes (and Houdaille shocks).

    I may also be interested in a 250 PF coupe project car ( pre s/n 1493 )
with drum brakes still on car. It doesen't matter what condition body or
interior is in as long as the original mechanical components ( chassis , engine,
gearbox, differential, A arms and suspensions, drum brakes, Houdaille
shocks) are all there and in decent condition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly a very ealy 330 engine but a few things do not look right.
    Front mounted heater valve?
    Front, right fuel hose?
What is the cap just forward of the dipstick?
It appears to have just one oil filter.
Ad says 4-speed. As far as I know, all 330s were either 4 speed + OD or 5 speed. GTC is transaxle.

    I had a 330 2+2 (8195) and now own a GTC - engines really look different.

1493 is indeed the last PF Coupe w/ drums although confusion arises because more than several earlier cars were redone w/ discs - some by individual owners and some by the factory itself.

Sorry 'bout that Jack, and thanks for answering Bryan. I also have some very interesting, very rare vintage stuff available for trade if anyone can assist with my search. All authentic, of course. PM if you want details...
