Lest you forget, the FIA stripped MS off of all of his points for an "accident".

That's right. Luis Garcia says Unfairnando Alonshole is not leaving the McCheater team at the end of the year. He will fulfill his contract even though he is not "happy" about it.

After blackmailing Dennis the Menace, blocking Lewis, not sharing set-up data with the rest of the team I am having a hard time believing that FA will not be driving for another team in 2008.

unless they wont release him out of spite - thats not out of the realms of possibility after his conduct.

i'd love to see him relegated to test driver status for a year - that'd teach him a lesson

You mean to say anything that Alonshole or his Agent says has any validity ?
He'll wait till the WDC is in his pocket then plunge the final dagger in. Then off to Renault.
    SIT HIM NOW !

Staying at McLaren is his only option as the only 2 competitive teams are McLaren and Ferrari, and I doubt that he'll ever drive for Ferrari; if Renault or BMW look solid next year maybe Asslonso will go to them in 09...

Looks as though McL are going to have to play nice today at Spa. It's going to be interesting to see how intent is proved if, oh let's say, electrical gremlins reign in Alonso. We'll see.

They can monitor him just as well as they monitored Red Bull's treatment of Speed.
    HIT THE ROAD.
    Don't like it ?
Then the FIA can hire him, or offer a $100M bonus to McC to keep him.
It is not the FIA's business who the teams should employ.
FA made his bed, now sleep in it.

Why not? Schumacher used the 1994 illegal traction control issue as sufficient cause for him to void the final year of his Benetton contract to join Ferrari in 1996, despite being the beneficiary of its use in helping him win the title. Of course, it took him a full season before his conscious started to bother him...
