Hang tight everyone... maybe the rain gods will be in our favor - we may have to call a last minute "rain-check" but hopefully not! Byron

Hey gang, I just now checked Weather.com - rain expected till at least Wed. - will be here for sure this Sunday. Now if you guys push the date a couple of weeks, maybe my Rachel will be out of Prestiege's shop. At least my timing for auto work was spot on! Cheers, Hank
DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS THE EVENT MAY BE POSTPONED. WE ARE HOPING THAT THE WEATHER WILL TURN AND WE CAN STILL ENJOY OUR SUNDAY EVENT BUT WE ALSO HAVE TO BE REALISTIC. BYRON AND I WILL EVALUATE THE SITUATION SATURDAY MORNING 2-19-05 AND CONTACT ALL PARTICIPANTS BY 2PM ON 2-19-05. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND COOPERATION.
Wow! this sounds like a cool drive... If postponed due to rain, be sure to post ahead of time, I might wanna go this time... Im down to drive my car and use it as a photoshoot car/van hehe... How about it Drew (fastautos)??? We can shoot from different angles of F-cars while going at high speeds hehe... *BTW, is ********** still on every last sunday of the month? Thanks, Bhane
Dustin tells me ********** is definitely on next Sunday. Hope you're going to be there so we can finally meet. The weather is certainly looking better for next weekend than this one. Jon

EVENT UPDATE Please be informed that due to unforeseen weather conditions, we have decided to postpone the "Lunch Affair at Montecito" event being held tomorrow, 2/20/05. We apologize any convenience this may have caused you or your guests, but unfortunately, we are sometimes unable to predict the rain! The current road conditions in Santa Barbara are very bad. The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 6, 2005 Since the event was limited to and was at full capacity with 40 people all participants that were confirmed are confirmed for the 3-6-05 event. For those confirmed that can not make that date please let us know. For those interested in getting on our waiting list for this event please let us know at . Thanks, FDC "We drive and drive often"
If I can schedule this out, Do you want me to take the SUV or the Helicopter? hehe... Either way Drew, you take some awesome shots. What type of camera do you use? I'll PM you later on some photoshoot projects I have in mind involving F-Cars... Bryon knows about it, and will schedule something out with him as well *if you guys know the song, sing along... "Rain Rain Go Away, blah blah blah another day..." Bhane
Right now I use a Nikon D70. I'm definitely interested in any projects you might have in mind. I've got a ton of F-car photos on the track, but I haven't had the chance to actually set up some good shots.
I know this has been rescheduled for 3/6, but did anyone realize that this is the first F1 race of the season. Maybe someone up in SB would be willing to host a F1 screening at their house.
Somebody needs to do the go away rain dance. The weather is looking questionable again. On the other hand, the weatherman is rarely correct.
The race is 6:30PM Saturday night. My guess is that everyone will have already seen it by the time the drive comes around...
Yep, my bad. I forgot it was in Melbourne. Go Schumi (but a little competitive racing wouldn't be bad).
Kudos to Byron, JLM, and anyone else involved in the planning. So sorry I couldn't stay for lunch...next time though (the little 308 who snuck in the pack and snuck out before lunch). Beautiful cars everyone. Henry
Thanks Byron & JLM for setting it up. Good food & great company, and followed up with our spirited drive back that was a blast. It's pretty nice to finally meet some fellow F-chatters(Kevin(CS), Kevin & Jean(sp?) Drew, Jay, Rick, Bob, Rob, Steve, ...), and reconcile the faces to names/screenames. Rob - hope you made it home OK with your 512TR. Looking forward to the next event.
Thank you everyone for a very fun and successful event... And thank you mother nature for complying!! It was so great to finally get out and run the cars a bit... special thanks go out to Dusty @ Village Coffee Roasters who set up a great welcome for our group Sunday morning - and for Alan for displaying his great art work. Our drive up to Montecito was beautiful... and Julia and Carlos took great care of us at Cava! Thanks Bob C for holding down the fort there and leading the pack on the spirited drive afterwards... Drew, Kevin, Jay - awesome pictures! Our website will be up in the next 2-3 weeks... Bain - you can save the stamps! For all the familiar faces, it was so nice to get together again... and for all the new people, hopefully we will see you out with us again! And that F430... WOW. See you all at the next one. Thanks, FDC www.ferraridrivingclub.com "We drive and drive often"
