I'll gladly help anyone balance out their car for this drive. Wouldn't want to have the left side of the car weigh more than the right side, would ya?
I'd be happy to help out if you'd like. I definitely don't want my car unbalanced. However I do live in Thousand Oaks and am unsure of where the drive starts. PM me if you're interested.
Event update: Thanks for the responses! It looks like we'll have a great group going again this year... we are finalizing the menu and will post final prices soon (we're trying to bring the price down a bit more!). Also, we will release caravan information to confirmed attendees as we get closer to the date. So far, the cars that have confirmed include the following types: 348 Spider/TB, 355 Spider, 360 Modena/CS/Sp, 246 GTS, 456GT, just to name a few! There are still some spaces available - RSVP by 2/17/05!! Email us at [email protected] If you would like to participate in Scuderia Rampage, spaces are filling up. Also, if you would like to submit a new logo for FDC, the deadline is rapidly approaching!! (3/1/05). Our membership drive is in full effect - forms will be available for release very soon! Email us for more details if you are interested in joining! Thanks! FDC "We drive and drive often"
Are Vipers and Vettes (and other performance cars) welcome or is this exclusive to Euro's? We've done several Santa Barbara cruises in the past with Lambo's, Ferrari's, Porsche's, Skylines, 1,000 HP Supras and more join the party. It would be fun to get a big group rolling up the coast together. Like Henry said the more the merrier... Brad
Brad -It's our pleasure to have you join one of our events again. Henry - how many are there coming in from Ventura? Have you spoken to Rob G? Byron
Jon, We can have 2 meeting locations, one in LA, then a quick stop in TO if it makes sense.... figuring out details right now (will be based on RSVP's). Thanks Byron
Are you asking for meeting places enroute to SB? If West LA is a preference then meeting at the big parking lot on the corner of Sawtelle and National is a good place. It is just west of the 405. If meeting in the SF Valley is what you want to do, then meeting at the Union 76 station on Ventura Blvd. just west of the 405 is a common meeting place. There is good parking along the street where you can line up cars. I hope that this helps. Brad
Byron, What about the Village Roaster in Calabasas? It's a good SF Valley location and certainly on the way to Montecito? I think a lot of people know of the location because of the Toys for Tots and ********** events. Just a thought. Jon
Jon, Thank you for the suggestion. We are working out details for the meeting location right now. I am having conversations with Dustin as well as a few other venues for options. Thanks, Byron
No, you can't go! I don't wanna have anyone who takes better pictures than me going! Seriously, I hope you land a seat.... your pics are always amazing, and it'll be great to have some additional coverage of the drive... We'd just better hope that the weather clears up. Extended forecast is currently showing rain....
