    Dear all:

Here are some general updates on the FCRA upcoming rounds 2 and 3 at the beginning and end of July. (Detailed info will be sent individually to each driver)

First, updates on VIR July 4-5:
The grid looks really really good. Even though this was a fill in date, its a holiday, we are splitting time with CHIN and it is crammed in between the FCA national, Montreal and other dates, we will have 25 Ferrari Challenge cars on the Grid. As many as the Ferrari Challenge F1 race! Ferrari of Central Florida/Classic Coach is hosting a barbeque party after the race on July 4th with Fireworks. All FCRA drives and guests are invited. VIR is an amazing track and we will have a great race. The schedule is such that we will qualify at noon for the first race, and the first heat race will be at the end of the CHIN event at around 5. The second race finishing positions will set the grid qualifying positions for the second heat race which will occur on noon on the 5th. If you've not done so already you need to register independently for with BOTH CHIN and FCRA. Do it asap, if you've not done so already.

New Jersey Motorsports Grand AM FCRA Support Race 21-24.
This is shaping up to be a huge race. It looks like we will again set a record with huge grid of 30-40+ Ferrari Challenge cars. We will be racing alongside the Grand AM pro race which is televised and will draw a big crowd. The event is packed with entries and Pro teams. We are working on reserved paddock for all of the FCRA teams. This is the FCRA's time to shine in front of the large promotors and pro teams. I'm wagering the FCRA and 30-40 plus Ferraris racing together in different classes, will put on as good a show for the spectators as the pro race. They have added a test day on Thursday. So thursday is a test day, friday are FCRA practice sessions along with the Pros. Sat will be qualifying and the race, and sunday is qualifying and the race. So I encourage drivers to register on Thursday, so you have two days of practice, because Sat, and Sunday there is only qualifying and the race in the schedule with the big boys. Jerome Bocuse is organizing a FCRA dinner party at a great italian place during the weekend. Because the FCRA attendance is so high, and this race is a support race for the Pro Grand Am race, hotels are very limited, if you have not done so already please do so. We expect thousands of spectators so this will be a very electrifying event.

More details will follow to each FCRA member individually, but the FCRA started off breaking a north american record for the most amount of Ferraris in one race in History. We are gaining momentum and support everyday. Thank you to everyone that has made this happen. We are making history.

    Rob:

You Onafrio and Greg are going to have a good race bc Franco Valobra has decided to run the series in his 355. I wish I was going to be a spectator to see the 4 leading guys go at it this season! All you drivers are soo good and so close, the top of the 355 class is going to see some fantastic racing.
