OK, I'll contribute on CharSiew(BBQ pork) or wanton noodles.

There's two highly rated ones @ the old hawker ctr along Mountbatten Rd (Old airport Rd, near the National Stadium). They're on the same row facing the main rd & just next to each other. The one on the left is better IMO while the other requires you to take a queue no!

There's a good one inside the East Coast Lagoon Hawker Ctr with the stall's back facing the lagoon. The BBQ sauce is very nice & rich. Usually requires to queue. The Beef KwayTeow nearby is fantastic as well.

Then there's the orig. FeiFei wanton noodles along Joo Chiat Rd @ the back of a condominium.

i would have to say that chili crab at "jumbo" (east coast seafood). italian at "petes place" (hyatt hotel) are my two favorites. the pizza at "petes" is a good as i have had in all of asia. i would also have to agree that the best thai food is at "Thunying", although i think it's a bit overpriced compared with their sister restaurant in bangkok. gong hai fat choi & cheers, kelly

Please update your Italian database... Cantina is one of the better places for Pizza. Pete's Place was a 90's thing....it does serve its purpose though... functional Italian food.

I have to disagree with you also. The best crab place ever is in Ang Mo Kio. And they don't sell out by 7pm because they have tons and tons of crabs. :)

That duck rice is quite good.

However, if you guys are looking for braised duck, check out Alexandra hawker. Excellent Authentic Teochew "lor Arh" with solid sour chilli

Had really good crab at No Signboard Restaurant in Kelang over the weekend.

Also had a really good steak at Mortons in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and the damn bill was a shocking $700 for four people.
