Hi Eugenio Are you definitely joining us this year on the Tuscanny drive? If so, have you spoken to Andrea?
Just a thought. The Tuscanny trips were originaly nothing to do with Fchat. They were FFOS organised by Andrea. Every year there is an Fchat meet AND the Tuscanny drive. Is Deil the main Fchat meet this year?
It puts a bit more weight on the Deil meeting. But probably you are right! I tried to organize a Benelux meeting but there was not enough interest at that time. So, Deil will be the EUROPEAN FERRARICHAT MEETING 2006!!!
Cool Good idea... But I think you can't really compare one day meetings such as in Overpelt 2 years ago and now in Deil with rally's that cover several days like Schotland, Switzerland and the Tuscany drives... I'm sure all of them were or will be great, no doubt about that... For some reason I still see the Benelux rally happening somewhere in the future but it won't be this year of course. Ow, and have fun all of you going to Tuscany again Have a great time but stay safe In september I will be on holiday in the neigbourhood of San Gimignano myself... without a Ferrari that is... but I promise I will drive the curvy roads through that wonderful scenery over there in a car made in Maranello someday... REALLY!
To all the participants of our Rally A couple a days ago, Pius Russi, our friendly host in the Ski-Club Andermatt, suddenly died. I have no further information at the moment. He helped me a lot in organizing the Rally. He was a really nice guy with a very good humour. I will miss him. My condolences go to Nicole, his wife and his family.
Hi Trevi Sad news indeed. He was a very friendly guy. When I was stuck for transport one time he just threw me the keys to his car, I'd only met him 2 days before
Great thread and pictures............very sorry for the death of your friend, Pius Russi. My condolences to his family and friends.
Trevi, sorry to hear that. As you put it, he was very friendly and the result of his support was a great meeting. Hope to hear from you again in different circustances. Ciao Eugenio
Very sad news indeed Trevi...I remember that wonderful trip, and the great hospitality, with fondness. I hope you are well - great to hear from you again, just a pity about the circumstances. Cheers, MARK
That is very sad. My condolences to the family. The Andermatt rally is still by FAR the best organized rally I ever participated in. The memory lives on. Ton
