That car didn't come from Toledo did it? I know of a doctor that had one with black wheels that he parted ways with.
I need to check Fchat more . More pics from the Ohio meet - https://www.flickr.com/photos/scott597/sets/72157657696354986 More pics of Todd's TR - https://www.flickr.com/photos/scott597/sets/72157656356019202
Awesome color combo...looks sweet in person! (I saw it when you came to Cleveland C&C this past Sept)
I see quite a few of you from Cinci/Dayton. non-conveniently I've never seen any of you on the road or even at Cars/Coffee or the local cruise ins like the ones I used to always go to at Lofinos. I used to be a little more active with the corvettes (ouch sorry) but that's because I raced mine in the SCCA, and normally bring a classic car to lofinos. I'd love to bring my 360 out around some other fcars though. What group should I be joining to get connected to activities in the Cinday area? I checked out fca-ohio.org, but their events ended in '14 so I didn't know if they were still active. IF they are, I'll join FCA.
On the FCA-ohio.org site, check the "recent events", those are all from last year. They are an active group and have a lot of events throughout the year. The FCA National Meet will be in June in Columbus this year. The only real event where you'll see any Ferraris/Lambos in the Dayton area is at Cars & Coffee at the Greene (not sure when that starts back up)
Any Fclubs closer to the Louisville area? Or Porsche clubs that anyone could tell me about closer to my area?
I work in visible distance to the greene... I'll head over there one of these days. Does anyone have the Cars & Coffee schedule this year? I recall hearing it was every other weekend. I just never made it up there once I heard of it.
I have an office right there by the greene, so I'm very familiar with it. A friend of mine with a classic mustang gave me the schedule last year, but I never headed over there. I know it was not every week, but was every other I believe. Do you have the schedule for Cars & Coffee at the Greene for this year by chance? Guessing not since you didn't know when it started up, but it has to be starting by now, eh?
Thanks Doug. I didn't check back in in time for your note, but I'll be in town on the 21st so weather permitting I'll plan on heading up. Thanks for the link!
Sorry, I haven't been on here in awhile. There is one this saturday. The lot is usually filled up by 9:30, it's best to get there around 8-8:30 if you want a decent parking spot, depending if you're showing or spectating. Anyone in the Cincinnati-Dayton area have a recommended shop they work with? I have a shop I trust a lot, and they get some high end cars- saw them working on a F12 for example... and they have all the 360 tools because the owner used to have a 360, but they just don't do a lot of ferraris. They changed my oil and did fine, and have done some other minor stuff, and while I'm sure I could go in there with brake pads and say "Change the brake pads" and they'd do fine, I just don't know about diagnostics and "experience" that helps solve car issues, nor do they have a good ferrari computer. Anyone have anyone they recommend? Where do they take them? I was told the Maserati dealer in Cinci can do clutch snaps and diagnostics. Thanks!
I'd recommend either NJB Automotive or Studio 47, both located in the Columbus area. Both shops specialize in Ferraris (and have all the tools) and come with awesome reputations. I know many owners who could vouch for either.
