Well I think I should visit a little more the Quebec chapter thread for the events. I missed a nice one in Tremblant while I was at Italian car day in Toronto. I'll try to be in Montreal for the Semaine Italienne drive and reunion on the 18th.

Thanks Mario! I carry some cans too just in case but not a big kit. I plan to stay at a hotel near the reunion friday night to be close next morning does anyone know where I should go. BTW my grandson is 14yo weight 155 pounds and shave every 2 or 3 days, so don't expect to see a little kid with me. I can't believe how fast life goes!

    Claude,

For the hotel, there are many choices, it depends on your budget.
You may want to stay out of the city core though, I live in the west-island and it only take 15-20 minutes to get into town.
You also have many hotels downtown, that your grandson might enjoy.
You just need to be aware of the parking for the Mondial, but I don't think you'll have much trouble anywhere.

Your grandson is certainly big for his age!
My grandson is 21 and is 6'2" and weighs 175, He plays football for St. Mary's University in Halifax.
...lol, yes time certainly does go much too fast!

    Hi Claude,

The Quality hotel in St-Leonard is very nice and prices are reasonable. It's right on the service road and it will take you 10-15 minutes to get to Little Italy from there.

Thank you for all your hard work, great turnout, my wife and I both had a great time. A dream come true for me to park MY Ferrari on St-Laurent. I used to fantasize about it as a kid....

Thank you to all of you! It was a pleasure to meet you guys! We really liked it. My grandson was impressed and also liked the pizza at Pomodoro. We left quite fast but had to leave for the kid to be at his hotel not too late.
BTW Fab you have a car to be proud of and congratulation for all your hard work on it. Sound is great too!

Maybe next year with the 308. If she's ready....

2012 “10th annual” Ferrari Dream Drive

It’s that time of year again, time for the annual Ferrari Dream Drive!

    Sunday September 9th at 9AM

The details are in the attached forms.

    A little change regarding sponsorship.

For the owners of non-sponsored cars, the foundation asks that the drivers offer a 100$ contribution to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation.
A tax receipt will be issued for these personal donations.

Some of you may have noticed that this year, the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation has asked that all participating drivers donate to the cause. Meaning that non sponsored drivers should at the very least make a 100$ donation to the Foundation, for which they will receive a tax receipt.

Asking if this donation is mandatory is like asking if you should remove your boots when you walk into someone's house during winter.

As Ferrari owners we are privileged to own such beautiful and exclusive cars. With ownership, comes a social obligation to give back to your community. And I can tell you that I've met VERY few owners that didn't share this sentiment.

Some might see this as draconian. I believe that it's time that everyone steps up to the plate.

My wife has often asked: "what is 100$ today?"

    :)
