-Invitations will go out as soon as I recieve the mailing labels from the FCA.

-Registration cost will not change from the previous years: $30 per car.

-If you would like to donate door prizes to be given away, or sponsor one of the stops (either in name or by providing refreshments at the stops), please contact me.

-Participants must be Ferrari Club of America members with current dues paid, for liability insurance purposes.

-I will announce our starting location as soon as I recieve confirmation from the folks I met with today.

-Thank you to Don and Carolyn, John and Carol, Will, and Jim S. for their help so far!

Please send me an email at {pokerrun05 at gmail.com} if you have any specific questions, or want to offer some type of help.

    Forza!

I'm enjoying watching them plan it. No pressure on me this time and a fresh set of opinions is a good thing.

Dave, try to keep a list of open seats as we usually have more than expected and there are several that need/want rides...me included! Maybe someone with 2 fcars needs me to drive one????? I know of a yellow 95 diablo that I'd just love to drive.

    I'll do that.
hee hee :D I'm gonna drive this event and enjoy it, even if it means I rent one of the new 'stangs. Unless, of course, someone really wants me to drive their spare Ferrari. :)

Ring Ring...."Uh, hey, JP? Want to sponsor/furnish the Poker Run staffer car?" j/k :D

Sure, we do require a small non-refundable deposit though to "loan" the car out.....say 100%.....

If it doesn't stop raining soon so we can get the car out we may end up driving something of an amphibious nature. Haven't tested the theory but suspect F-cars don't handle deep mud very well.

That's o.k. - I have a bunch of Ferrari stickers we can put on it and call it the "pace car".

Don, why wouldn't you be able to bring an F-car or 2? Afraid of the rain? 512M in pieces?

    FarmerDave -

PM me a physical mailing address where I can send some items to give away for your Poker Run. Here's what I'm thinking:

    1. A 5-speed slick shift gate
    2. and/or a 5-speed shift gate lock
    3. A few Ricambi America golf shifts
    4. A $100 gift certificate.

Sound cool? Do you have enough 6-speed registrants that I need to include something for them?

    Best,
    Daniel

p.s. I would love to attend, but we're doing a big track event in NC that weekend.

Thanks for the generous offer! I'll ask some of the folks what they would prefer, but like I said, its totally up to you what you want to donate... :)

Totally understandable that you can't attend, it WOULD be a bit of a drive for you.... although you might win the "furthest travelled" award

    David -

The giveaway items shipped yesterday. My frail little mind has already forgotten what's in there... but I think it includes:

    1. Golf shirt for you (because you'd probably steal one anyway)
    2. $100 gift certificate for the Poker Run winner
    3. $50 gift certifcate for the Poke Run "runner up"
    4. 3x8 Slick Shift Gate. Award it however you see fit.
    5. Three more golf shirts. If Rob Lay attends, make sure he gets one. The others... give away however you see fit. Rob is a skinny little fella, right? ;-)

Take a few pictures of the event (wearing some shirts??) and we're cool. Let me know if the registrations are huge, and I'll get some more stuff flowing...

    Best Regards,
    Daniel
