Join us for an evening of friends, food and cars at the luxurious Azuridge Estate Hotel near Priddis. Enjoy the drive into the countryside ending at the inner courtyard at Azuridge. Park your car around the waterfall feature and take a tour around the facility. We have reserved the Moonstone Muse Patio overlooking the courtyard where our cars will be parked. We also have a room inside if the weather turns unfavourable during our stay.

Azuridge has a full staff of professional butlers to look after us during our stay. The estate has hosted many dignitaries, celebrities and other VIP's in their history. Needless to say, they know how to take care of their guests.

    Dress: Business Casual.

After starting as a small get-together between the local Ferrari and Porsche clubs five years ago, Euro Cars & Coffee has turned into a must-attend weekly gathering for several hundred automotive enthusiasts sharing their passion!

Our growth has necessitated a new home this year and we are thrilled to announce that the Cardel Group has generously offered to host us at their incredible facility at 180 Quarry Park Blvd. We kicked off the event on May 3!

If you own one of the following marques you will want bring it out on these evenings when you will be the star! We also hope to coax out some special cars from each marque to join you!
    May 17: Porsche
    June 14: Ferrari
    July 19: Lamborghini
    Sept 13: British

There is ample parking for everyone at Cardel. We have divided the parking lot into two sections: one for the Euro Cars & Coffee show cars and another for spectators.

The Cardel Theatre has also been reserved each night exclusively for the Euro Cars & Coffee show car owners if they wish to duck out of the crowds for a little bit.

With the early spring we have enjoyed, there have been a lot of questions from owners and spectators alike about the changes to the event this season, the appropriate etiquette, appropriate vehicles to bring, etc., and we’re happy to answer some FAQs in order for everyone to maximize their enjoyment.

"How could you possibly be expected to skip Euro Cars and Coffee on a day like this?"

The weather is looking perfect tonight. Please bring something special and enjoy a great evening with other enthusiasts.

The Ferris Bueller movie car will also be making a special appearance.

We will be using the North part of the parking lot tonight. The South portion (where everyone usually parks) is reserved for guests of a Cardel Theatre event.

Please consider making a Food Bank donation at the Cardel Theatre to help our less fortunate citizens.

COME CELEBRATE FERRARI’S 70TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE EUROPEAN CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The show is on Saturday and the weather forecast is looking for certain to be a sunny 25 degrees. We have a good good turn out with a few special cars being displayed to celebrate Ferrari's 70th Anniversary.

We will also be serving a light lunch and and refreshments for everyone that registers a Ferrari.

If you have not sent in your RSVP please do so soon. Your club needs you!!!!!!!!!

As you know, 2017 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of Ferrari. What better way to join in the celebration than at this year’s European Classic Car Meet at Stanley Park. This year’s event takes place on July 22 and Ferrari is the featured marque. A few years ago the club made a concerted effort to get as many Ferraris on the lawn as we could and we were rewarded with over 70 cars on the lawn making Ferrari the dominant marque of the day. This year, as a part of the anniversary celebration we want to beat that number and, for that, we invite you to attend. The weather will be beautiful – in fact, in the last 15 years, it has only rained once and, this year, Enzo will be looking down and making sure we have sunshine.

For those of you unfamiliar with this event it is the biggest European car show event of the year in Calgary. For the last couple of years, in excess of 220 cars were seen by upwards of 10,000 people. So, please be a part of the fun! For that, we need you to do two small things:

    1. Please send an email to [email protected] , to let us know you are coming and what year and model of car you are brining as we want to line things up on the lawn in chronological order.

    2. On Saturday morning, please plan for some extra time to register at the gate and pay the small fee to the VSCCC to display at the show.

We look forward to seeing you and having some fun.

    Great show today !!!!!!

Some wonderful vehicles and great people.
I'm a Lambo guy so seeing the Diablo SVR and Islero was a treat.

On the flip side, the 275 GTB, Dino GTS and the F 50 were special vehicles.

The paint and detailing on the 275 were remarkable.

    Hi Dale

Hope life is treating you well.

The wife and I were there about 12:30-1:30.

We were up on a weekend getaway.

We only learned about the event the evening before, and attended as observers.

It was an absolute thrill to see such a diverse group of cars from Abarths to Unimog and Volvo.

I was particularly impressed that the organizers took the time to group the cars by manufacturer.

The attendees should also be commended. They were incredibly respectful of the vehicles regardless of its value.

You should have stopped and said hi. We were between the Unimog and the Abarth...brought the car AARC is raffling off, the little red Austin Healy 3000 lookalike...

Next time you're coming to town, let me know...I know of a couple of places you'd likely enjoy seeing...

    Special Badlands Motorsports Resort Presentation

Jay Zelazo is on a mission to get us a Calgary area track. He is now ready to make a special presentation to all of us who are interested in using the track. He has gotten the track development to the point where he has his development permit and can start to build. Unlike the presentation in November, this is not about investing in the development. These sessions are for enthusiasts who are interested in all of the different types of track events that are possible and may be interested in being a member. I will tell you that if you have any interest in a membership you need to attend one of these two sessions. There are several levels of memberships and they are great value. You will be pleasantly surprised at the cost for what you get. I think it is a no-brainer.

We have been busy advising Jay and his team and he has decided that there will be a very special discount offered only to those people who put down a modest deposit of around $1000 on the night of the presentation so bring your cheque book just in case. Please feel free to spread the word and bring some guests who may also be interested!

If you and/or your guest(s) do make a deposit you will be asked to name your referrer. Please name "FCA Alberta" or "Ferrari Club" to support the club. There is a referral fee paid to the club for every deposit that names us. We can use that to execute some more amazing events for everyone! Maybe even make some of those things free! We expect to be booking this track regularly!

    Two presentations:
    Thursday, February 22, 7-9pm
    Hotel Arts, Room Spectrum 4/5
    119 - 12 Avenue SW, Calgary

The format for the event this year is something I am very excited about and I encourage all of you to register. It is no longer a speed event. This event was suggested by a member of the local Ferrari community and we are happy to help spread the word to support it.

The Foothills Country Hospice Society in Okotoks is dedicated to providing specialized, compassionate end-of-life care to adults, and support to their loved ones. Since 2008, they have cared for more than 1000 patients and their loved ones in the Calgary and rural Foothills communities.

This year, on their 10th anniversary, they invite you on August 11 to participate in their Rally 4 Hospice. It is limited to 50 exotic, specialty, and collector cars. Following the rally, the rally winners will be crowned during an incredible evening of philanthropy at Spruce Meadows complete with an elegant strolling dinner, entertainment and live auction. Details in the link above!

Aug 25-26 Okanogan Dream Rally (Kelowna)
    http://www.okanagandreamrally.com
    Now accepting registrations!
If you are not going to Pebble Beach, we encourage you to make your way to Kelowna and participate in this event that benefits the Ronald McDonald House. The format is similar to Racing for a Cure. Registered exotic cars will take a child in need in your passenger seat to give them a day they won't forget. It will be a leisurely drive throughout the area and I have been told that they have arranged for a CF-18 at one of the destinations parked next to our cars. You and your passenger will have the opportunity for photos with the fighter jet as well as a meet and greet with the pilots.

    Euro Cars and Coffee (Public)
Weekly Tuesday Nights from 7-9pm at Cardel Theatre starting on May 22

The ever popular weekly evening Euro Cars and Coffee at Cardel Theatre is back on May 22. I know a lot of you are chomping at the bit with the nice weather. Opening night is going to be huge!

This year we are going to change it up a little bit. Last year we had 4 special feature nights. This year we want every night to be a little special. We also recognize that there are a number of really cool cars that don't get the attention they deserve. I think this is a good solution to give exposure to more cars and educating other enthusiasts on the obscure stuff that is generally overlooked.

This year we will reserve 5 or more spots every week to feature specific cars. If you would like your car featured, please send us a picture, the date you would like to be featured, and the name of the car. If you wish you can add something interesting about the model, interesting prior ownership, or even your own ownership story and why it's special to you.

It's also ok if you want to come as a group to be featured. This way we can feature unusual groups like the NSXs and Delta Integrales that come regularly. You just need to email [email protected] what night you want to do it, how many spots you need.

Date reservations are first come, first served. The local dealers will likely be doing some special nights and selecting dates as well. Stay tuned!

What do you think of this change? Your feedback and comments are welcome. Please email [email protected]

The club will be hosting a special Ferrari Night on June 26. You don't want to miss that!

Never heard of Euro Cars and Coffee? Get up to speed here:
    http://www.fca-alberta.com/euro-coffee-and-cars-faq/

On May 22, the featured cars will be:
Rolls Royce Dawn; Mercedes G Wagon cabrio (rare Japanese version); Porsche 918, Carrera GT, 911R, GT3RS; Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster; Aston Martin DB11, and the new Acura NSX paired with the original NSX!
