FCA 2024 Annual Experience

Elkheart Lake WI and Road America. I believe it is in September. It is looking to be the largest event in many years.

 

Rob: Do more than "might" on that effort. And, bring a lot of others from your DFW group.

 

Sunday September 8 through Wednesday September 11.

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and Road America for the concours and the track activities.

We want a major turnout.

Stories of a significant turnout of Enzo era and other special Ferraris are being heard.

 

I've been to every one since I joined the FCA, except this year. Oregon was just a bit too far, plus we were already in the area when we had an August booking on the Rocky Mountaineer in Vancouver, BC.

We are definitely driving out next year.

 

Long Island Chapter of FCA is already planning a major turnout there.

 

Prior years the concours was on the lawns of the Osthoff Resort on the shore of Elkheart lake. It was a beautiful venue but is going to be way too small for this year. The show has been planned at Road America on the various grassy areas there.

Can't remember where it was in 1979 as we were in Fond du Lac and at Road America

I don't remember 2013 at all. I do remember we met at 2009 event. You had your 308 there.

 

2009 I was a regular attendee.
2013 I was Sponsorship Chair so was running around taking care of them. Rumor was it was a good event.

2024 I am the Co-chair of Sponsorship along with Kelley Betances. Anyone interested in being a sponsor, Mercato only vendor, or have an ad in the event program please be in touch. We are happy to sign you up!

 

Can't wait for this. Only ten months to go!

I didn't figure the green banana quip until recently. I always wondered what was wrong with green bananas. But when I turned 70, I got it.

 

A bit complicated for me as Pebble Beach is on the 18th August 2024, just three weeks before FCA begins on the 8th September 2024.
Flying from Europe back and forth twice within less than 3 weeks......hmmmm.
